Though it’s in the heart of Paris’ most populous arrondissement, this two-bedroom apartment is a soothing escape from the hustle and bustle of the City of Light. Full of tasteful furnishings and pops of green from the indoor plant life, you’re greeted with a certain intimate charm as soon as you cross the threshold. The kitchenette is small so you’ll want to keep cooking confined to smaller meals, but there's plenty of comfort and character to make up for it. And when you’re ready to explore, there are plenty of cafes, patisseries and eateries all around – or take an easy ride into the central city at the nearby Metro station.

*There's no external window in the second bedroom.
*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*Parking in Paris can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible. The closest Metro station is Boucicaut, a five-minute walk away, which takes you right into central Paris.
