Ten minutes on foot from the endless collections of the Louvre, this apartment enjoys a central location in Paris. The surrounding streets are filled with bakeries, cafes and bistros for every meal of the day. But there’s a full kitchen should you wish to kick back at home and the dining room is large enough for big groups. With a keyboard, and shelves lined with books and trinkets, there’s a lived-in feel that won’t be to everyone’s taste and the bathroom is on the dated side of retro. But it's an ideal bolthole from which to explore central Paris.

*This apartment is on the third floor of a historic building without a lift. You'll have to be comfortable climbing a lot of steps to the entrance.
*There is no washing machine in this apartment, but there is a laundrette nearby.
*The bathroom is on the retro side, but it's perfectly functional.
*Quiet hours are in effect between 9pm and 9am.
*The old tiled floor can be a little chilly underfoot in winter.
*While there is no private parking with this apartment, there is paid, on-street parking available nearby.
