The basement is very rustic. There is a sofa, but it is very old and dirty (covered with towels), which doesn't make it any cleaner. Lots of spider webs, you have to buy sauna wood yourself or chop the wood you have.

This house is for nature lovers who prefer rustic charm over modern. It is a paradise in the bush with lots of privacy. The last bit of the road is unsealed but totally doable for normal cars. It has everything you need to feel comfortable. However, it is advisable to bring a large vessel to fetch drinking water from the landlord, who lives 200 m away. We totally loved our stay!

1st floor living area and balcony are nice dining and lounge areas. However, without a comfortable seating area (sofa). Undisturbed, quiet place with less sun due to the trees close to the house. Usable plot appears larger in the picture. Complaints (oven, hot water/gas) were fixed immediately! Kitchen utensils sufficient, partly old and very chaotic... Kitchen itself cool and damp with mice.

Large chalet sleeping several people, quite rustic in the lower part with the kitchen and a lounge area with a large fireplace. Large convivial table with very beautiful bay window and terrace. Pleasant outdoor space

Approach on almost 5 km long narrow forest road - last 300m SUV advantageous. EC looks medieval - great! Kitchen very well equipped. Living room on the 1st floor very nice with a large balcony. Some of the bedrooms are cramped - use the empty room. But nice! Surrounding forest at night with lots of animal sounds - great. Disadvantages: mice on the ground floor (large box for food available) key holder (300m from the house) only speak French we had no WiFi - landlord didn't care Overall: great!

We spent a lovely few days in the rustic cottage. If you expect luxury, this is not the place for you. The house is furnished in a rustic style, but still has its charm. We really liked the pizza oven and the fireplace in the lower part of the house. There is a beautiful bathing lake (Lac de la Mosolette) about 6 km away. We would come back anytime.

We stayed at the property with a group of 10 people. The house was perfect for this purpose!
