Casa Piana

A small settlement where everyone greets you, including tourists, a beautiful view of the surroundings and the sea, privacy, peace and quiet. The road is full of curves, at one of them there is a waterfall with the possibility of swimming. The house is recreational, old and corresponds to that. Don't look for luxury, but it has its charm. Low water pressure, so showering was more like pouring water, but sufficient. Washing machine available incl. washing gel, you don't need to bring a lot of clothes. The owners are helpful, the lady baked a welcome cake, she only speaks French. You can also speak English with the gentleman. Overall, we liked it.

Always up the mountain on small roads: it's a learning experience and it's worth it! What a view of the mountains, forest and neighboring villages! Lots of space, extremely accommodating hosts, hiking trails not far away, great beaches on the coast and always the option to retreat into the quiet hinterland. It should stay that way!!
