Le Pigeonnier

Our Host L. was friendly and helpful, and the gift of wine and biscuits was a lovely gesture. The Pigeonnier was perfect for the two of us, equipped with everything you could want and more. The views of The Cher river from the lounge and the terrace with large lawned areas were outstanding. It is central to visiting many of the Beautiful Chateau's and towns in the area (our favourite was Amboise) and with beautiful riverside walks on your doorstep. We Highly Recommend this cottage.

The two-storey, small, converted former dovecote is ideally located in the triangle of Amboise, Blois and St. Aignan. Lots of culture. If you like roses, you should go to Chedigny, where there is also a rose festival at the end of May. Loche! Lots of orchids...or bike rides along the river.

It is a fantastic house and very beautiful surroundings. Hospitable manager and on arrival there was a bottle of wine and bread for the next morning.

The accommodation is comfortable and well appointed; the place is unusual. The main asset is the terrace with a view of Le Cher. The place is quiet. Good stay with visits to castles, cellars and beautiful bike rides along the Cher.

Pleasant rental with very well maintained and relaxing garden. Very friendly welcome.
