This apartment in the centre of the Breton town of Quimper ticks a lot of boxes in terms of things we like to see in an urban home. First of all, there's the generous sense of space and light, created through the open layout and the tall windows running along the walls of the main living space. On top of that, there's a sophistication in the design, from the stark white walls covered in artwork and the parquet flooring to the chic selection of furnishings and the sleek kitchen with plenty of room for whipping up some home-cooked fare. The only complaint we can come up with is that, at the maximum capacity of six, four of the guests will be sleeping on two sofa beds – it's only a minor niggle, but we do pride ourselves on being nitpickers. When it comes to sightseeing, you're in a truly excellent location. Saint Corentin Cathedral and the Breton County Museum are only three minutes' walk away, while the surrounding streets are well-served by cafes and restaurants. If you have time for a day trip in your itinerary, the seaside town of Bénodet takes just under twenty-five minutes to reach by car, as well.
