Chalet les pistes Apartment 5 Saint Gervais, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

The apartment is very small. The furnishings are sparse. Crockery and cutlery are often only of the cheapest kind. The television is a small mini PC screen. In the bedroom there is just 20 cm of space around the bed. That is miserable. The apartment is smaller than advertised. The water in the toilet cistern is constantly dripping. The raclette pans were almost all still full of cheese residue.

The cleanliness of the apartment and hallway was poor... too many old-fashioned decorations, poorly cleaned items on the kitchen...

The cleanliness of the accommodation leaves much to be desired. Poor bedding to change. Dilapidated housing that deserves a good renovation! Small incident to deplore, the arrival of the following tenants at 9:30 a.m. when we had to return the keys for 10 a.m. We had taken the cleaning fee, but I assume that this was not done since the following tenants moved in immediately after our departure. So we paid for nothing!!! On the other hand, we were very well received by the agency.

The apartment is very well located, downtown accessible on foot in 5min, and well arranged. On the other hand, some equipment deserves to be replaced and cleaning needs to be reviewed (the sofa cover should be washed, the balcony cleaned + railing to be repaired, dust bunnies at the foot of the bed, etc...)

We had a very good stay in this apartment located near the cable cars and with a magnificent view. The owners will have to think about changing the mattresses, which have had their day. We would have liked the parking space reserved for this apartment to be cleared of snow on our arrival! We had to do it ourselves with our feet... not practical at all! The technical service did not really provide this side. Otherwise clean accommodation. Dishes and appliances old but functional.
