Really great house with the recent addition of the hot tub - great trip.. The owners were really helpful too, we had some bad weather and they came and maintained our outside area for us. Only catch was the slightly muddy road on the way to the house but that is to be expected during a wet spring when you're on farmland! We are already thinking about another trip to stay in this cottage.

Great cottage.. We were really happy with it and the owner was friendly and helpful. Great for families and adults. We’d definitely stay again.

The house was perfect for our group - we had 6 adults and four children, and there was plenty of space.. Very clean house and location was also great. We didn't stay long (only two nights) but would definitely come back. Only slight criticism we'd give is it would have been nice to have a Christmas tree, as we stayed just the week before Christmas, other than that it was perfect.

The house itself is really nice - well appointed, good sized and comfortable bedrooms, plenty of space in the kitchen/diner/sitting room and lounge downstairs. What we found really exceptional about the property though was the location - it's on its own in the middle of a large farm with countryside views all around. As a bonus there's a really good hottub where you can relax and take in the surroundings. A perfect place to enjoy a break with a large group.

Beautiful house let down slightly by attention to detail.. Ie TV remotes all had dead batteries or none, and the cleanliness of the hottub could have been better. We did all have a lovely weekend here though.

The cottage was very spacious which was better than we expected.. The view was open fields all around which was fantastic. My only suggestion /improvement point is the direction. i.e The direction to the cottage could be more precise as it stopped at the 'red letter box'. We were 3 families arriving at different time. We all got lost!

The cottage was fantastic! A beautiful setting in a rural area, where no one would ever find you. There was plenty of space for 8 of us to spread out and relax. It was well equipped, comfortable and warm. We all loved the hot tub! Jane welcomed us to the cottage and answered any questions we had prior to and during our stay. Would definitely recommend for a lovely, quiet getaway.

The cottage was ideal for a family get together.. The place was spotlessly clean and very spacious. I think it will be a venue in the future. My kids and grandchildren didn't want to leave! What a place to get away from the rigours of general life. Very peaceful.

This is a cottage in an isolated setting with very relaxing 360 degree views of a rural England of fifty years ago.. There is no traffic noise, no light pollution and, during the day when we were there in June, the constant chirping of skylarks and bleating of sheep. If you want solitude with a group of friends/family, this is the place to be. If you want to eat out, there are plenty of places within a ten minute drive. If you want to eat in, you've got all the facilities you need. If you want to tour the area, there's plenty to see in Ludlow or Leominster. The hot tub is always welcome especially if you go out for walks, but take a map (OS Explorer 203).

Stayed here on a fri - sun break for my daughters 40th birthday. There were 6 adults and 4 children in the party. We wished we could have stayed longer! The cottage is very big and comfortably furnished. A HUGE well equipped kitchen, diner, sitting area with doors opening to both front and back gardens. There is a cosy sitting room with plenty of seating and a beautiful brick fireplace with an electric log burner effect fire which was very cosy. The heating and hot water were perfect. There is a downstairs cloakroom and a further 2 bathrooms and an en suite upstairs. The bedrooms are all large and the beds very comfortable. Outside there is a hot tub, table and chairs and bbq. There are stunning views all around. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Please do note that you will have to drive through the actual farmyard to get to the cottage - we thought we'd got it wrong and were driving on private property! Excellent place - well worth a visit.

Excellent welcome and ongoing information from Jane & Colin.. We booked to hold a wedding anniversary event which the cottage was particularly well suited to from ample car parking to large interior rooms. The surrounding countryside is stunning.

The cottage is spacious, well equipped and comfortable.. The location, farm environment (we were there during lambing...) and very warm welcome by the owners, make it a gem. There were three generations in our party and there was something for everyone. Having a pair of Red Kites doing a morning and evening flypast was the icing on the cake

We stayed here for three nights for my husband's birthday. We had a lovely time! The photos online don't do it justice as each room is beautiful and the views are amazing. We went for walks in the countryside and enjoyed eating, drinking and playing games around the huge dinning table. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back again.

We stayed at Wood Cottage for two nights as a family of 9 (3 generations aged 16months - 50's). The dealings I had with the owners prior to and during our stay were excellent, always able to answer questions and make suggestions. The house itself is beautiful. Immaculately clean, very good selection of items in the kitchen and generally all you'd need for your stay. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious. Showers were powerful and warm. The house was so cosy and warm. We loved that in both of the downstairs rooms there was plenty of seating to accommodate everyone. The garden was lovely and fully enclosed which was great for the dog and toddler. Our weekend was on the whole rainy, but this didn't matter as the views from the house are stunning and you can sit in one of the downstairs rooms playing games / relaxing with family and just enjoy the views. When the rain did stop we went into Tenbury Wells and also walked down into the farm where the house is located. My little boy LOVED this. Puddles, sheep, cows, ducks, a dog, tractors and a friendly farmer, what more could a 16 month old little boy want!! We had a Chinese takeaway one night from Tenbury Wells, we found a leaflet in the information pile in the house. There are plenty of amenities in Tenbury Wells which is only 10 minute drive away. A fabulous weekend with family in a beautiful house. Next time we'd stay another night. Thank you!
