Experience a truly special stay at this charming seventeenth-century cottage situated in the picturesque village of Stanton. Featuring a comfortable interior, as well as a beautiful garden, this is a great country retreat away from the pressures of city living. Arrive to be greeted by a cheerful and welcoming exterior, inviting you to make yourself right at home. Inside it only gets better: we love the cosy living room, with its plush sofa, a warming fireplace and plenty of unique pieces dotted about. The place fully retains its period character, with stone and wood details, including the impressive wooden beams on the ceiling. Let yourself be inspired to create delicious meals in the country-style kitchen and share them with your loved ones at the wooden dining table. Head upstairs to find two comfy bedrooms, each carrying the promise of a good night’s rest. You can also treat yourself to some self-pampering with a luxurious bubble bath. Wake up restored and start your day with breakfast in the gorgeous tiered garden, with its stream-like pond which runs across the middle. When you feel like venturing out, there is plenty to explore in the area – from picturesque walks and cycling trails to the village itself. There’s also The Mount Inn, an excellent place for a drink or a scrumptious Sunday lunch.
