Had the most wonderful stay at Brambles cottage for our Cotswolds break.. The cottage is amazing, cosy and quaint but with amazing facilities. The beds are super comfy, and we just loved the cosy fireplace in the comfy living room and underfloor heating in the kitchen. And of course the cherry on top is the amazing hot tub with the wonderful views! Thank you to our lovely hosts who are always on hand for any queries, we will definitely be back!

We stayed here for 5nts in August 2020, with our two teenage children and our patterdale terrier. The property was immaculate and so well equipped for our stay. Lovely location. The large garden was fantastic for the dog, although she did come face to face with 3 sheep at the back fence at one point during the stay and I fear a larger dog would probably have jumped the small fence in this area. Lovely welcome pack, with the usual tea, coffee, milk, bread and jam - plus some biscuits for the dog. Hot tub was great after a day out walking and exploring. We had glorious weather, up to 35 degrees some days so didn't use the hot tub until late evening but due to the location this didn't cause any disturbance to others. Ample parking. The property is semi-detached but we never heard the other guests, although some of our windows did overlook their garden space, so we kept the curtains closed for privacy in these rooms. Would definitely recommend and will return. Booked direct and Jess was brilliant throughout.

The cottage was well located and clean.. Hottub was great. This cottage lacked some heating. The electric fire which was the only source of effective heating in the living room was not working. We told the owner this and she came and checked. we were promised a replacement heater for the following day and it never arrived and the owner did not come and see us again. Therefore we were having to sit with duvets on so not ideal for a February break. The underfloor heating was very inefficient throughout the kitchen area as well. In contrast, the hot water was VERY VERY hot and heating upstairs very efficient. Other than being cold the cottage was lovely.

Great walks in beautiful location.. Cottage was in good order, warm and cosy and clean. The owners allowed us to just 'get on with it', although there were a lot of rules to read and implement!

We have just returned from Bramble Cottage today and have had an amazing stay for the second year running and cannot find a cottage in another part of the country that offers the same amenities / standard so have booked again for 2020.. Jess and Stuart provide everything you could ever need. It really is home from home. They provide an excellent welcome pack - bread / milk / butter / coffee / tea / sugar / locally made apple juice / the most gorgeous biscuits / dog treats and maps and books on the local area. The property is ideally located for the Malvern Hills - Upton-on Severn - Worcester - Malvern / Ledbury and many more places to visit and so many walks. The local butchers in Ledbury is highly recommended D T Waller and the fish and chips at the Malvern Hills Hotel after a long day walking the hills. Fully enclosed big garden with excellent hot tub looking onto the Malvern Hills. Immaculately clean and welcoming property. We have 3 Springer Spaniels and the property is so easy to keep clean with slate floor in the kitchen. Very highly recommended

This is at least the 4th time we have visited Brambles Cottage and each time is as great as we remember.. We really appreciated the welcome pack including bread, milk and biscuits. The owners were around but left us to our own devices which was great. Such a relaxing place to stay with lots of thoughtful touches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and could have happily stayed a little longer. The hot tub in garden is a bonus and a real asset.

Worried about the very fast road that the property exited onto to.. difficult to find..worried about the decommissioned jacuzzi bath in the property and bacteria..bath plug hole full of old hair. gate to private garden not very secure for dogs..was left open by Amazon delivery man calling with parcel for the owners who lived in a detached property on site. no where safe to walk the dogs apart from on main road verges.

September 2018
The cottage, it's location, comfort, and cleanliness were exemplary.. The owners were really friendly, and the cottage well equipped. We like to try and leave a cottage as clean as we can to help save owners time on changeover days (we've been there ourselves in a 'past life' !), but could have done with some kitchen and bathroom cleaning materials to have been available. Other than that very minor point, it was perfect !

March 2018
Brambles Cottage was very lovely, comfy and clean.. The owners very kindly left a welcome pack, which was very nice. The area was lovely and we did have a good holiday. However, from the description on Sykes we were not aware we were going to a farm environment. This only became apparent when we received our holiday details and address, etc, just before departure. This wasn't a problem until the Wednesday of our stay when I was awoken around 8am by banging from building work being done. On the Thursday, my birthday, our peace was literally shattered by the arrival of a concrete mixer and another piece of machinery. From about 10am that morning the concrete mixer was outside Brambles Cottage and the other piece of machinery was actually outside the gate going backwards and forwards moving concrete from the mixer to another site on the farm. The noise was terrible, even from inside the cottage. We have photos and video footage of this to capture the actual noise. We could not have gone outside the gate. We were, in fact, waiting for a taxi to go out for a meal so were at the cottage all morning. This virtually ruined our last morning at Brambles. The lady owner did apologise to us for the noise when we were leaving that day, and the owner himself did tell us they were having work done on our arrival on 23 March. However, my point is we should have been made aware of this either before we booked, or having booked we should have been given the opportunity to book an alternative stay somewhere else. It is a bit late to tell guests there is building work going to happen when they arrive, having booked and paid in advance, and looking forward to a peaceful holiday in the countryside. I would value your comments. Thank you.

Owners very helpful and friendly, very generous welcome goodies, wonderful to have the hot tub and a safe, enclosed garden for the dogs.. An ideal place for our family get together!
Mrs Presson, March 2018
December 2017
The cottage is beautiful and the welcome pack was above and beyond requirements.. We had an amazing Christmas, the tree and decorations were really appreciated. Our 3 dogs loved the garden and we were relaxed in the knowledge that they could run free and not get out. I only have 1 niggle and that is that the settee is past its best and isn`t very comfortable for ageing bones. The young ones were fine with it but us oldies struggled to get up as it is very low and the cushions slope backwards.

Possibly the best cottage we have stayed in - and we have stayed in a few. Nicely furnished in a traditional style, the cottage was spotless on arrival and had everything we could of hoped for, including the hot tub. Located at the foot of the magnificent Malvern Hills, there is plenty to do in the local area and you are only 30 minutes or so from Gloucester and Worcester. Thoroughly recommended.

A very nice property set in a good location, with the Malvern Hills very close by. There were lots of lovely towns and villages located a short drive away. There were lots of beautiful walks around, and many of the local pubs and restaurants are dog friendly so we didn't have any problems getting food and drinks accompanied by the dogs. The hot tub was nice and relaxing after a long walk and it is kept clean fresh. The owners of the Cottage keep the grass verge mowed regularly which makes it a lot easier walking the dogs along the side of the road, as traffic moves quite fast. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday.

When we got to the cottage Jess, the owner, came to see us and made sure we was ok with everything. The property was beautiful and all the original features had been kept including a glass covered well in the kitchen. There was a big hot tub and a big garden which would be great if you had children or dogs with you. The local area is very hilly and there are lots of places to go walking in. There are also lots of attractions around the local area. All in all a fantastic trip

We spent Feb half term at Brambles Cottage and had a fantastic time. Lovely, spacious, homely and well equipped. Large garden for dogs and kids to burn some energy, with the addition of the hot tub it was a gem. We were lucky with the weather so enjoyed the stars at night and brilliant sunny days which allowed for stunning walks in the Malverns. The cottage is in a great location for exploring the area but also has walks from the door. We would highly recommend this cottage for a relaxed week, no wifi or mobile signal either so you really can switch off! :-)
