Slow down for a while at this rural Wiltshire hideaway for two or a solo traveller, nestled within the lands of a working family farm and yet just a three-minute drive from the charming village of Avesbury. With some of the country's most important Neolithic sites a short drive away and local pubs for upper-crust grub even closer, you've got the best of Wiltshire to explore. Get off to a flying start with inspiring country walks leading straight from your door - set within the Avebury World Heritage site, its UNESCO-protected landscapes won't disappoint. And when it's finally time to head back to the farm, the charms of this elegant retreat are hard to resist. Once a humble stable, the space has been beautifully elevated into a collection of stylish cottages standing side-by-side overlooking a landscaped shared courtyard – the spot for sundowners or an evening barbecue. Inside, you'll find a small but perfectly formed kitchen and living space for curling up with a cuppa and toast - there's homemade sourdough in the welcome hamper at the ready. Then climb the mezzanine steps to discover a beautiful bedroom with a king-sized bed adorned with plump cushions, vibrant textiles, and flanked by statement lighting to ramp up the cosy factor for a dreamy night's sleep.
