This fabulous cottage is located on the outskirts of the village of Holmfirth near Huddersfield, made famous by the TV series The Last of the Summer Wine. Holmfirth offers a wide variety of shops, cafes and bars, and restaurants which use local produce, to enjoy. The village is full of art and creativity, why not visit the gallery of a renowned local artist. There are lots of beautiful country walks right from your doorstep, so bring your walking boots and enjoy the hills. Magnificent scenery and cycling routes used in the Tour de Yorkshire and Tour de France are all on the doorstep. For a fun filled family adventure, outdoor pursuits or miles of peaceful country walks, this area has much to offer. Upon entering the cottage you will be in the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a beautiful dining table. There are sumptuous sofas to relax and unwind in whilst sitting watching something on the TV. The kitchen area provides an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, washing machine and tumble dryer. Leading off from the lounge area is a sun room with high table and chairs, where you can enjoy the warmth of the summer sun which glows into the room in the afternoons. Heading downstairs to the ground floor you will find the master bedroom with kingsize bed and two singles which has en suite shower room with stone sink. There is also a second kingsize room with grotto style shower room and WC. Heading upstairs to the first floor you will find a further two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and a second bedroom with King size bed. The house bathroom has a jacuzzi bath with mood lighting, marble floor and feature stone sink. As you go outside and onto the decking you will find sun loungers and comfy sofa chairs against the back drop of the trees. Then step down onto the lower tier decking area where you will find further sofas and a bar table and chairs and corner seating unit, perfect for relaxing during those summer evenings. Overlooking this area is a summer house which has a hot tub and sauna inside, creating a peaceful sanctuary to enjoy whatever the weather. There is roadside parking to the front of the property for two cars (subject to availability) and further parking in the nearby pub car park. There is parking for 2 cars in the private layby behind the garden.
