  • "Cant wait to return!"

Where shall i start?! Amazing accommodation, the cleanest, best thought out rental we have EVER stayed in. Jo & Neil the owners are really helpful lovely people & having their beautiful horses “in the garden” was an amazing plus - so therapeutic to sit & watch them in the paddocks from the balcony as the sun went down - beautiful sunsets, incredibly convenient location to pubs, sea, walks, local shop & pub - we extended our stay as we loved it so much - something we have never done before - not only will we definitely be returning we are counting the days till we can - HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Hayloft totally faultless due to Jo & Neils hard work & thoughtful design & planning in every area from the car parking to the great shower room. You can just tell so much thought has gone into the detail making the Hayloft totally faultless! And we are not easily pleased! see you again soon Jo & Neil.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. It was great to meet you both and we look forward to welcoming you back to stay with us again soon! Property Owner

  • "It's a beautiful spot to relax ."

Lovely sitting out on the balcony watching the horses with the beautiful view over the countryside. Finishing off the day watching the sunset is beautiful. The apartment was immaculate and well kitted out and very comfortable. Also very convenient having the Bosham Inn round the corner for a lovely meal out. A great location for exploring the fascinating area. Bosham is a lovely spot to wonder and have an ice cream. The Anchor Bleu pub is a must.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay and the local area. Property Owner

  • "No expense has been spared on this conversion and the thought and workmanship that has gone into it is exceptional."

This relatively modern brick barn has recently been converted into two properties and this top one provides a balcony with great views over the paddocks and open countryside. The sunsets are of particular note.. There is plenty of space but expect to bump your head occasionally on the eaves. It is very well equipped and comfortably furnished with a very large bed. It was a bit more expensive than we usually pay for a two person cottage but was worth it. There is a good pub a few minutes walk away and a farm shop a few minutes drive. There are NT and English Heritage properties together with a roman palace within reasonable driving distance so plenty to do if the weather is not too great (as when we stayed). Happy to recommend.

Thank you for your lovely comments and for choosing to stay with us, we're glad you enjoyed your time in The Hayloft. Property Owner

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at The Hayloft."

It was spotlessly clean and had been converted to a very high standard. It had all the kitchen appliances you would ever need and the bed was king size. Jo and Neil are very friendly and welcomed us with a number of treats including a bottle of wine. We are happy to recommend it.

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback Peter. We're delighted you enjoyed your stay with us and very much hope to welcome you back to stay with us again in the future. Property Owner

The property occupies the entire upper floor of a detached brick-built barn which has been lovingly converted to a very high standard creating a little bit of luxury in the heart of the countryside.

Character oak features and comfortable, quality furnishings make this a very cosy and relaxing place to be.

The perfect spot to disconnect from the bustle of everyday life. From the private entrance door, stairs lead up to the apartment and into the well-equipped open plan kitchen with oak beams and modern integrated appliances including a dishwasher and washer/dryer.

The full height lounge windows allow you to relax on the sofa and take in the far-reaching rural views, perhaps read one of the books or play one of the games provided for guests. French doors lead from the lounge onto the west facing balcony with table and chairs, which provides the perfect place for al fresco meals and to take in the stunning, uninterrupted views over the horse paddocks and surrounding farmland to the sea in the distance. At the rear of the apartment is the cosy bedroom with super king bed which can also be adapted to twin beds on request.

The mattress is superior quality to ensure a good night’s sleep beneath the crisp white linens.

Here there is also plenty of drawer space, two bespoke built-in wardrobes and an oak dressing table and stool. Off the landing area is the shower room with complimentary eco-friendly toiletries provided for guests use. The apartment is fully central heated and a complimentary welcome pack is provided to get you started when you arrive.

Thoughtful touches like USB charging points, hairdryer and luggage storage are all here to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. Guests enjoy secure, private parking directly alongside the barn behind electric entrance gates and there is also on-site CCTV for additional peace of mind.
