4 Masons Court is a wonderful little cottage, dripping with history and only a very short walk to all of the wonderful things to do in Stratford-upon-Avon.. Allocated off-street parking is an added bonus!

Masons Court in Stratford is an amazing Elizabethan building complete with original beams.. It is so well equipped, spacious and comfortable that it makes for a very relaxing break. The cottage has been converted to a very high standard and everything worked perfectly. Little things like dishwasher tablets being supplied, handwash, a selection of dvds, board games and books all go to make it above the ordinary. The wi-fi was the best I've ever experienced in a holiday home. Being so central to the town it also makes visiting all the Shakespeare attractions so easy. We have stayed in several Sykes properties this year. They have all been good, but this was easily the best.

Mason’s court was an absolutely perfect cottage to stay in to enjoy all Stratford-upon-Avon has to offer.. It’s been beautifully renovated to a very high standard, giving all the old style charm with modern amenities. The weather during our stay was fabulous and made the outside courtyard a brilliant facility for us to use. We can’t wait to return.

The cottage was very attractive, furnished to a high standard in grey, white and oak.. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped. But bring a corkscrew. The patio garden is well planted and cleverly divided into 4 areas for each cottage providing some privacy. The location couldn't be better. Only 10 minute walk to the river and theatres and 20 minute walk to Ann Hathaway's cottage. A couple of niggles: it's an old building and the walls are thick and windows small so it does not get hot and gets cold quickly even on hot days. The central heating is controlled by the owner and he did up the heating on a few evenings; I found the the high stools at the breakfast bar quite awkward for eating; no hanging space or hooks in the twin bedroom and no drawers in the double, also no towel rails. The owner was easy to contact and responded quickly to queries. Despite those little niggles I would stay again.

Wonderful cottage! Excellent surprises were the fantastic monsoon shower, or you can have a traditional shower! Lovely pod coffee machine with loads of pods, and what’s more I could understand how to operate it! Fab location of course, you can walk into town in two minutes. We walked to the theatre and back.- no need to faff about with parking. In fact, we didn’t use the car for the whole holiday. Everything in Stratford was accessible by walking. Another nice surprise was that the cottage is actually set back away from the road, so it was much quieter and more secluded than anticipated. You walk beyond an old iron gate through a cute little walkway to reach it-it’s enchanting. We just wanted to stay forever. To sleep under 15th century beams, yet have all mod cons too, including a washer/ dryer and a dishwasher. The stairs are characterful but easy to negotiate- they’ve been made more accessible. There is a high chair too for those who might need one. And it all looks congruous. Highly recommended! We are definitely rebooking!

This well preserved historic cottage is small but well kitted out, comfortable and ideally located in the centre of Stratford.. The secluded shared garden is quiet and a wonderful place to sit to enjoy the atmosphere or an outdoor meal at any time the day or evening. We had a wonderful time here.

I left feedback at the property twice! Extremely positive comments in the visitors book and additional comment on an envelope left on the counter. Fantastic venue, overall excellent facilities but we struggled with the heating - too hot, too cold and no instructions . The toilet was temperamental. A few logs by the chimney would have been nice - the weather being particularly unpleasant when we were there. A ‘Book if Help’ would have gone a long way to alleviate these issues.

An historic, charming, cozy, quiet and characterful 'cottage' that is also well-equipped, up-to-date and stylish.. The central location is superb.

Masons court is the oldest residential building in Stratford, it is oozing with character! A wonderful place to stay, very cosy, immaculate and beds are so comfy. The kitchen is compact but exceeds what you need. The knives and forks draw is huge, i need one! The oven looks brand new its so clean. It is quiet considering its in the centre. All restaurants and tourist attractions on your doorstep. There is a beautiful independent shop called vinegar hill, which is a must to visit. Catch the open top bus to see all thr Shakespeare attractions, Mary Ardens farm a must with children. Will definetly book Masons court again.

Beautiful cottage suited us (4 girls having a get together) perfectly! Easy walk into town, parking behind property, lovely decor and a very well equipped kitchen. We had a minor plumbing issue too but the owner dealt with it very promptly. Would recommend.

The cottage was excellent, right in the centre of town so it was easy to see the sites and plenty of choice for food and drink.. The cottage has been renovated to a high standard and was very clean. I Would definitely book this cottage again.
