For a delightful country house escape, look no further than this beautiful Cotswolds home. With a courtyard garden, wood-burning stove and a spacious kitchen, this home has everything you need for an idyllic break to the country. The spacious four-bedroom house has been styled to suit the surroundings, so you can expect stone floors and soft hues. Classic country-style furniture and modern touches like the fabulous royal blue sofa sit together to create an attractive space. The living room leads out to the outdoor area, where you can sit in the sunshine to enjoy alfresco meals while you take in the views. The house is just a seven-minute drive from the charming market town of Shipston-on-Stour. You’ll find cafes, restaurants and some of the cosiest pubs – perhaps after a day hiking around Whichwood Forest you’ll find a corner near the fire and dine on hearty fare like pie and mash. Twenty-four minutes in the car is all it takes to visit Stratford-upon-Avon, and stunning Broadway is just thirty-one minutes away. You’ll also find National Trust properties like Hidcote Gardens within striking distance, so there’s something for everyone. However you spend your day, it’s an absolute pleasure to return to this home and its wood-burning stove.
