It’s all about location and this delightful cosy holiday cottage is in Trinity Street, one of the most desirable areas of Southwold. Perfect for a family holiday, Nelson House is close to the High Street and the sea - spend the morning in the town and head to the beach after lunch and build sandcastles or relax with a good book.
The interior of the property is well laid out with accommodation over two floors. The reception rooms are comfortable and welcoming with leather sofas and an open fire for the cooler evenings. The shaker kitchen is beautifully fitted and traditional with exposed beams and French doors leading out onto the courtyard garden. Upstairs the bedrooms are pretty with beamed ceilings and coastal decor. This fabulous property sleeps 6 guests, so whether you’re a group of friends looking to escape the 24/7 routine and switch off, or a family looking for a beach holiday, look no further than this charming house!
Southwold has some great shops, cafes, delis, pubs and restaurants so you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to dining. Alternatively visit one of the independent grocers, bakers and butchers and cook up a treat. A visit to Southwold wouldn’t be complete without heading off to the pier, dating back to the 1900’s, it was originally built as a landing point for the steamships which use to stop off at the town. Don’t forget to visit the lighthouse - this distinctive landmark at the centre of the town has been guiding vessels into the historical harbour since the late 1800’s.
