Area
In the heart of the Suffolk Heritage Coast, on the banks of the River Alde, sits the charming village of Snape. Three pubs and a village shop can be found in Snape, which all offer delicious food that is locally produced. Snape Maltings, a major tourist attraction on the Suffolk Coast with a number of gift shops and small enterprises providing a variety of cuisine, art, and crafts, is located just outside the settlement. The Snape Maltings Concert Hall, the site of the Aldeburgh Music Festival, which was established by Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears in 1948, is also located there, along with a cafe, tea room, and bar. The market town of Woodbridge, which boasts a large range of stores, pubs, cafés, and restaurants, is only 10 miles from Snape. The region is a refuge for animals, and there are several well-traveled trails that go from Snape, such as the Sailors' Path, through historic forest and heathland to the well-liked seaside town of Aldeburgh. A stunning and serene location that attracts tourists all year long.

We had a great stay in this cottage, yes rather quirky and slopping floors upstairs but it added to the adventure. Plenty of Hot water, yes could of been a bit cleaner, but a great place to rest your heads. We visited all over Suffolk from there. In a fab area lots of walks to go on with our 2 Labradors. Would stay again. Also recommend The Old Chequers Pub across the street. xx

Garden of weeds. Not cleaned. Grubby. Full of spiders & webs. Loo stinks of wee. Bath tiny with water jug. Dated, falling apart . Rotten windows. Broken dishwasher. Filthy kitchen and all stuff soiled. A waste of money this is NOT A Holiday let standard at All . We will never book with Skye cottages again

No hot water for a whole week. Tiny bath and no shower so had to carry kettles of water upstairs to wash selves and hair. Dishwasher did not work so had to boil kettle for that too. Informed owner and Sykes straight away. Electrician and plumber sent by owner could not fix problems easily. Also roof leaked water in bedroom when rained heavily. Offered zero compensation by owner who claimed we distorted and exaggerated problems ( yet a previous guest review told of no hot water for two and a half days) and as we turned down 4 unsuitable properties offered on day 3 by Sykes they let us down too and we would not recommend them to anyone else. Also offered full compensation if we moved out on day 3 but we live over 7 hours away and were not going straight home. Feel totally let down. Sadly downstairs really nice layout and good tiny garden in front and back
