Situated on a quiet side street in the popular resort town of Lowestoft rests this pleasant Victorian holiday home, Seaside Retreat.

Enjoying a wonderful coastal location, with a wealth of activities and attractions nestled on its doorstep, Seaside Retreat is a delightful base for a family of four to call home.

The property rests moments away from the main line train station, ideal for those who are travelling by train or are looking for a day out to Woodbridge and onto Ipswich, London or Norwich.

Make your way over the threshold of this contemporary grey mid-terrace property and dust off your sandy toes as you enter into the handy hallway space.

Follow the corridor through to the snug sitting room, thoughtfully laid out with a sumptuous sofa and armchair gathered in front of the television, offering a lovely spot to unwind with a family-favourite of an evening.

When stomachs start to rumble, utilise the fabulous range of amenities provided in the pint-sized kitchen to rustle up a delectable dish and gather together in the dining room to tuck-in to the fruits of your labour.

In the warmer months, carry the conversation outdoors and enjoy a well-deserved glass of wine and a seat amongst the fresh sea air of the rear garden.

Completing the ground floor is a convenient family bathroom, fit with both a bath and an overhead shower, so you can choose to end your day with a blissful soak amongst the bubbles or a quick rinse under the shower head.

When sleep calls, climb the stairs to the first floor to catch your rest in one of three well-presented bedrooms, consisting of a double, a twin and a cot bed each offering storage to unpack your belongings and make yourself at home.

Take advantage of your close proximity to the coast and spend lazy afternoons lounging amongst the soft sands of South Beach, from which you can walk to Pakefield, where a handful of lovely pubs await; alternatively, you can spend some time on North Beach, or soak in the sunshine with a scenic stroll along the paved promenade toward the iconic landmark, Ness Point, marking the easternmost point of the UK.

Try your luck on the penny slots at the amusement arcade or take a step back in time with a tour of Lowestoft Museum, showcasing fascinating exhibits on the history of the area.

Those looking to get their steps in can enjoy a wander through the peaceful grounds of the Carlton Marshes Suffolk Wildlife Trust, whilst a handful of clubs and driving ranges located nearby are sure to keep the avid golfer entertained.

For more coastal adventures, head north to Great Yarmouth, where you can expect thrills at the Pleasure Beach amusement park or catch a live theatre performance aboard the Britannia Pier.

There's plenty of history to be discovered in this fabulous town, such as the former prison and dungeons at Tolhouse Museums, the medieval town walls, dating back to the 12th century, and the National Trust's Elizabethan House Museum.

Why not treat the family to a day out at the delightful Pleasurewood Hills, a theme park hosting exhilarating rides and attractions, or perhaps a day out at Africa Alive Zoological park in Kessingland is more to your fancy?

A trip to East Anglia wouldn't be complete without a visit to Oulton Broad where you can access The Broads National Park, brimming with glistening waterways, picturesque landscape and rare wildlife.

The East Coast cinema in Lowestoft is but a short drive away.

Make memories that will last a lifetime with a stay at Seaside Retreat.
