Situated at the gateway to the Dales and in the heart of the Peak District National Park which is the perfect place to enjoy long walks, leisurely bike rides or horse riding in the quiet Derbyshire countryside. The High Peak and Tissington Trail are within easy reach with cycle hire, alongside is Carsington Water for sailing and water sports. Chatsworth, the medieval Haddon Hall or in contrast Alton Towers theme park and spa can all be easily reached. Buxton, renowned for its Opera House and Pavilion Gardens, is also a short drive away. Situated next to the owner s home yet with its own privacy, the cottage is approached via some concrete steps which lead you to the hallway, providing a place to hang your coats. The lounge is warm and inviting with exposed beams, feature fireplace with multi fuel burner, comfortable seating, TV/DVD and pretty views over the garden. The kitchen is bright and airy and hosts everything you need for a want for nothing escape including electric oven and hob and illy coffee machine. Spend time enjoying breakfast with loved ones around the farmhouse table and enjoy those garden views. There is a very handy pantry which provides lots of space for groceries and houses the fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Heading upstairs to the first floor to the double bedroom which is decorated with cool pastel blue tones and features a stylish brass bed, one you won t want to leave. The twin zip and link bedroom (which can be made up as a super king size on request) is pretty in pink and is complimented with stylish soft furnishings and a little window seat to pause and ponder whilst gazing into the cottage garden. There is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC, so you can enjoy a hot bubble bath after a day hiking the nearby hills. The gorgeous cottage garden hosts an array of mature planting and splashes of colour throughout the year. There is a table and chairs on the lawn with nearby charcoal BBQ, surrounded by pretty planting, perfect for enjoying the summer sun. There is also a nearby bistro set tucked away to relax and spot the surrounding wildlife. There is roadside parking, subject to availability.
