Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Part of a former 16th century farmhouse, this cute home in the Somerset countryside is perfect for a peaceful escape. Secluded and intimate, it has a homely vibe that's made for couples on a romantic getaway. A fireplace and wood burning stove create a cosy ambiance, supported by the low-vaulted wooden beams and comfy sofa. Whether you're visiting in the glorious months of summer or the romantic winter season, the living room is a snug place to settle with a cup of hot chocolate or tea. If you do visit in the summer, you'll love dining alfresco on the table in the courtyard. Share toast in the mornings, complemented by a cup of coffee, before moving on to a glass of cava in the evenings. Picturesque and quiet, the only sounds you'll hear are the birds singing in the skies above. If you fancied spreading your legs further than the courtyard, you'll reach the award-winning pubs in Broadway in just a few minutes' walk. Slightly further up the road, the quaint town Ilminster can be reached in five minutes by car – here, you'll find coffee shops, vintage stores and inviting cafes.
