"Probably the best holiday home we've ever stayed in."
Large comfortable rooms with everything we need, in fact this was our second stay here and we may well be back again. The owners are here, close by and are very friendly and approachable. The situation is perfect for everything that one may need to explore the best of Somerset.

"Fabulous property, very clean, comfortable accommodation."
Very well equipped, lovely throughout. Small enclosed patio and grassy area for the dog. Added bonus a lovely cake, wine, milk and jam waiting for us courtesy of Nikki and Andrew. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed. Near the steam railway for a great day out, also Lyme Regis within reach. See the latest Mary Anning bronze figure by the sea there. National trust Coleridge’s cottage at Nether Stowey very interesting. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

"A very nice Barn it had everything you needed."
Andrea & Nikki came over and introduced themselves and welcomed us and stressed that if there was anything that they could do, then inform them. Nikki had baked a delicious cake which was washed down with the wine that they kindly left us as a welcome gift in the fridge. The barn itself is in a lovely location close to Taunton and all places easy to reach. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this property to our friends & family.

"What’s a beautiful converted barn, spacious and perfectly equipped."
A wonderful welcome from the owners Nicki and Andrew and a lovely welcome pack to greet us (with yummy homemade cake!) The garden & patio was perfect for our Westie Freddie, completely enclosed for him to wander, lovely views and very private for us to relax with a glass of wine with just the sound of the birds.....bliss! A perfect week in an extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean, and cosy property. A super comfy king size bed was so wonderful to sink into at the end of a day sightseeing. Lovely en-suite, a great shower, and a lovely walk in wardrobe. Everything has been so beautifully thought through by the owners. We loved it.......our Westie loved it! The property is ideally situated to explore lovely walks and coastal areas. Sykes never lets us down!
-
"This is a lovely barn conversion in a rural location near to the owner's house."
The Barn is in a beautiful clean condition and very well equipped. The welcome package was second to none and the owners were friendly and ready to give advice about the area and attractions for which I thank you. The garden area was fenced in with a seating area to enjoy the rural views and animals, and also dog friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Little Fulford Barn and would recommend it to anyone needing a peaceful and relaxing holiday in this lovely part of Somerset.
-
"Just fabulous, one of the best holiday cottages we have ever stayed in."
Andrew & Nikki were the perfect hosts, we had a lovely welcome from them & one of the best welcome packs we have ever had, the orange cake & raspberry jam was absolutely delicious. They were on hand if there were any queries but otherwise left us to enjoy our holiday. The cottage was perfectly situated for exploring this lovely part of the world & they really have thought of everything to make the cottage perfect.
-
"Comfortable, well equipped and spacious property."
Pictures on website show it well. Warm and welcoming hosts. Accessed by narrow country lanes and surrounded by countryside. Only birdsong and animal sounds as there is so little traffic. Milk and cake on arrival gratefully received. Good size freezer as no local shops.
-
"We really liked this cottage."
Very comfortable, well decorated and well equipped. Owners very friendly and left us a yummy cake, homemade jam and bottle of wine. My partner (6ft 4ins) appreciated the high ceilings! Would be very happy to stay there again.
-
"We had a fabulous week at Little Fulford Barn, despite the weather."
Our welcome pack was amazing, we needed a slice of cake after our journey. Nikki and Andrew were helpful, friendly and informative. Andrew recommended the Ghurka3 in Taunton for a meal, now we can also recommend this. Dunster Castle well worth a visit, though involves a lot of walking. Would definitely return if we are back in the area. Thus place gets a 10/10 from us.
-
"Beautiful barn, well equipped and comfortable."
Worthy of 5 stars Would definitely recommend
-
"What a superb cottage."
Very clean, warm, relaxing and comfortable. The added extras left, like the yummy homemade orange cake, bottle of wine, milk and delicious homemade jam went down a treat. You could not ask for a better relaxing holiday retreat and Nikki and Andrew's cottage is now at the top of list. A warm welcome greeted us on our arrival, and if they would have us back then we will definitely be returning. You will not regret your stay. First class accommodation. Many thanks to Nikki and Andrew.

"Very friendly and helpful hosts."
Everything you could want from a holiday home, (other than a bath and SKY TV after a tiring day walking / climbing in the Quantocks !! ). Brilliant patio area, with BBQ, overlooking horses meandering in the field - serious wind-down. Couldn't fault the whole set up, and the web site doesn't do it justice. Thanks to Sykes Cottages, and Andrew and Nicki.
-
"The cottage is a delight to stay in, very well equipped and is light and airy."
The owners are so very friendly and helpful and we were welcomed with a cake, eggs and milk. The location is ideal for walking in the beautiful Quantock Hills straight from the barn. The coast is a short driving driving distance as are the Somerset Levels.
-
"Andrew and Nikki are fabulous hosts."
The welcoming freshly cooked cake, wine, jams and, the very tasty fresh eggs made a wonderful start to our holiday. Pam and I really felt at home at Little Fulford Barn. Our time there was very relaxing and watching the wildlife in the fields, made the country come to our doorstep. We WILL BE RETURNING to 'our' little barn as soon as possible this year. Little it's not, a barn it certainly isn't. Thank you, Andrew and Nikki, for the wonderful welcome and, making our stay our holiday at Little Fulford Barn so enjoyable. See you again soon. Pam and Stuart Brawn.
-
"Excellent in all respects from the lovely welcome gifts to the tasteful design of the barn itself."
-
"This beautifully converted barn is a real treasure."
All the fixtures and fittings and furnishings are very high quality, and there is absolutely everything that you could possibly need for a week away. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. We had a dog, and appreciated being able to open the door on to a reasonably sized and safely fenced grassy area. In addition, we were told we might use an even larger field too, there was an amazing view from the top, where the owners had thoughtfully placed a table and chairs. Also, (although we did not use them), a box was left for us with a dog bed and bowls etc. We had a very warm welcome from the lovely owners, and if all the above was not enough to ensure a great holiday, we were also left wine, milk, freshly laid eggs, amazing home made jam, and a tin with a big, very delicious home made cake in it. This place is five star, so peaceful, gorgeous views, plenty of attractions nearby. Thoroughly recommend.
-
"One of the best cottages we have ever stayed in,everything you could wish for."
Lovely home made cake, eggs, milk etc to welcome you.Would recommend the steam train trip also podshavers for a meal
-
"Extremely clean and comfortable."
We spend 3-6 weeks each year in self-catering and this by far one of the best places we've ever stayed in. They have thought of everything you could possibly need and couldn't be nicer. The views over the field were lovely and the outside space was perfect on a sunny day.
-
"Fulford barn is a great place to stay."
The welcome from the owners was terrific and we felt right at home. The barn is well proportioned with all the amenities anyone could want. It is set in a very peaceful area yet only a short drive from Taunton, the sea and many other attractions. We had a thoroughly relaxing time and would highly recommend this cottage.
-
"We had an excellent week at Little Fulford Barn."
This is one of the nicest and best equipped self-catering lets we have ever stayed in (and we do this a couple of times a year). The hosts were welcoming and friendly and the location is ideal. The only thing that could have been improved on was the weather!

"The owners, Mr and Mrs Clarke, were very pleasant and helpful."
A very nice cake, baked by Mrs Clarke, was awaiting our arrival. The cottage was very well appointed and situated in a good place to explore the Quantock Hills and beyond. We rarely holiday in the same place twice, but if we did decide to return to this area we would not hesitate to book Little Fulford Barn again.
