June 2019
The property was spacious, comfortable and well equipped.. There were some lovely, welcoming touches from the owners and they were unobtrusive during or stay. The views were amazing with pub just around the corner and the main town of Church Stretton about 1.5 miles away. Loved the hot tub and property offered an ideal base to explore some of the Shropshire countryside.

The cottage is lovely, comfortable and well-equipped.. My dogs were very happy in the enclosed garden. Lovely views from the hot tub! The owners were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. There was plenty of wildlife to watch from the garden - my mum even saw a heron close-up, that came down to the stream at the bottom of the garden. There are a lot of walks nearby, with Long Mynd and Carding Mill Valley virtually on the doorstep. Church Stretton is about a 15 minute walk (or a quick drive) away - a pretty little town. The golf course also welcomes walkers and dogs (on leads, there are sheep everywhere) and you can get a coffee there when the clubhouse is open. We had a nice lunch in the beer garden of the pub in Little Stretton, which also allows dogs. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay if you like walking, or just want to sit and relax.
