Sitting in one of the prettiest villages on the Thames – Streatley – this beautiful home is the perfect place to relax and unwind, and to get a taste of country life. The 18th-century farmhouse has been lovingly restored, so it’s now a comfortable and convenient space to call home, whether you’re visiting for a short break from the city or plan on spending your entire summer here. The farmhouse is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so you’re never far from an attractive view. It’s an ideal location for those wanting to spend some time in the Great Outdoors, so bring your hiking boots and bikes. Of course, one of the best ways to see the area is by water – hop in one of the kayaks available and cruise along the waterways. You can pack a picnic, or head towards a local pub. When you’re not out seeing the sights, you’ll likely spend much of your time in the charming garden. Enjoy your breakfast on the terrace, read a book by the pond, and just revel in the tranquillity. Inside, it's a cosy affair. After a long hike, you can soak in the claw-foot tub with a glass of wine, before settling down in front of the roaring log fire. You’ll leave here feeling blissed out.
