Located in the old town overlooking the pretty fishing harbour at Seahouses, this charming cottage is the ideal place for families to explore the Northumberland coastline. Beadnell Bay is a short walk away and provides a range of watersports and a largely deserted beach perfect for a picnic. The village of Bamburgh is also nearby and can be reached on foot, where you ll find the famous Bamburgh castle which provides a stunning backdrop to the rugged coastline. Bamburgh is also home to the Grace Darling museum which is a must see attraction and provides information about the life of the 17 century heroine. There are two entrances to the property, but the main entrance via the top door leads you into an impressive, large open plan lounge and well equipped kitchen/diner area. The lounge is furnished in a contemporary style with a large comfy sofa, and a separate armchair. The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. In the corner of the lounge, there is a large dining table with seating for six situated next to a feature window which opens onto a large balcony and offers stunning views across the harbour towards the Farne Islands. A small spiral staircase (N. B. can be steep for some) leads from the lounge to the master bedroom which is furnished with large king size bed. This room also has a separate en suite shower room which is equipped with an electric shower, WC and basin. Heading downstairs, you can find two twin bedrooms and bathroom. The downstairs bedrooms are tastefully furnished in a contemporary cottage style with twin beds. The bathroom contains a bath with shower over bath and WC. Outside there is parking for two cars with one space located directly outside the cottage at the top entrance while the other is at the bottom entrance on the large path within the yellow lines. There is also a large furnished balcony, located just off the lounge on the first floor. This has room for a table and chairs and offers stunning views of the harbour and is the perfect place to sit with a cup of tea to watch the sink beneath the waves. The garage offers guests additional storage and is complete with a washing machine and second fridge freezer.
