  • "Property needs general refurbishment but was comfortable enough."

Position to town was excellent.sound on television keeps fluctuating.quite annoying.parking was good.leak from oil tank made sitting in garden smelly

Thanks for staying with us. We do say we are available at all times in the welcome letter, we would have been happy to help if there was a problem with the TV had we been informed by yourself (or indeed any of our guests). There is no leak from the oil tank or the property would be closed for repair. We have maintained excellent safety standards for 10 years with regular checks by our heating engineer, as well as the annual servicing, and having had the tank inspected following your feedback, there are no leaks. I am disappointed to hear you feel the property requires general refurbishment as it is closed down every year for full redecoration and upgrading of contents, as we take our guests' comfort very seriously and hence we welcome multiple repeat guests every year. However your feedback is noted. Property Owner

Enjoyed teh beach walk from Seahouses to Bamburgh.

  • "It was in an ideal location less than ten minutes to walk into Seahouses either along the road to the main Street or the coastal path."

Great having two car spaces - that was one of the reasons we chose it and it had two bathrooms. Everywhere was clean and tidy everything you needed in the kitchen. It was nice to be able to sit outside after a day visiting the area would definitely go there again.

  • "Beautiful holiday cottage."

Owner went above and beyond by providing high chairs and travel cots for my twin grand-daughters. Well equipped kitchen. Modern TV and good Wi-Fi. Comfortable beds and powerful shower in the en-suite. Safe enclosed garden and walking distance to shops and beaches. Dog friendly too. Couldn't fault it.

  • "Lovely well equipped cottage right near children's play park, beach and town centre."

Seahouses golf club is nearby along with costal walks to Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh Castle. The owners next door to cottage were friendly, nothing was a trouble! A truly enjoyable, comfortable week!

Be welcomed by the pretty exterior of this semi-detached cottage, enjoying the views from the driveway as you unpack with ease into a homely property.

Make your way into the sitting/dining room and settle down in one of the leather sofas, enjoying the tasteful décor and blue feature wall, a colour expressed in bursts throughout the room, and you can enjoy a coffee beside an electric fire stove, or a family meal at the wooden dining table.

The kitchen is amply fitted with loads of amenities so you can cook up a storm and try out local produce.

As well as a bathroom where you can relax amongst the bubbles, there are two lovely bedrooms, each with their own character and charm, including a king-size with a TV and en-suite and a twin.

Dine alfresco in the courtyard, enjoying the sunshine and the salty air.

Seahouses is a fantastic coastal location with loads on offer for guests, beginning with the range of tasty eateries and pubs, so why not enjoy a meal out before heading over to the beautiful sandy beach and trying out watersports?

Boat tours from Serenity Farne Island Boat Tours allow you to see the coastal scenery from the waves, and you can head a little further from the property to Annstead Dunes Nature Reserve to see what wildlife you can find.
