Visit the Holy Island Causeway (5 miles) for a day exploring beautiful Lindisfarne, the castle, priory and why not sample the famous local mead? Iconic Bamburgh Castle, magnificent sandy beach and popular village and shops are also nearby (13 miles). Spend time in Berwick upon Tweed (10 miles) for the castle and city rampart walks, follow The Lowry Trail, hit the beach or browse the shops, crafts, galleries, and cafes.
