• "Lovely property."

  Easy to find. Close enough to walk to the amazing beach and the local facilities. We were lucky enough to have amazing weather and the property was so central for exploring the area it was an absolute dream. Would go again tomorrow.

  I couldn’t get the hot water and heating to stay constant the bungalow was perfect location was perfect unfortunately the weather was bad so only stayed 1 day and came home the 2nd day

  I’m sorry if you struggled with heating and hot water instructions. The boiler heating was left switched on and the thermostat is in the hallway- it just needs to be turned up and down. The hot water is an ‘on / off’ switch on the boiler with a booster switch beside it to quickly heat a tank of hot water when you first arrive and it all seems to be working normally. The house is easily warmed with the central heating. The log burning stove is a great source of heat and in our experience makes the house very warm indeed. • "The property was in a quiet area which suited us both."

  It was also within easy reach of Seahouses so getting shopping, fuel etc was not a problem at all. The rooms were all very comfortable and more than adequately furnished, it definitely felt like a home from home. The outside areas are extensive and I can imagine great to sit outside in warmer weather (but not October!) The only very minor downside was the step down into the main bedroom. This was highlighted but a couple of times, toes were stubbed. Overall an excellent property in a beautiful part of the country.

• "We found the modern appliances difficult to manage."

  The microwave did not respond to your instructions that is it did not work. The heating did not work for two nights therefore a little cold in evenings,first two nights. We left a day early due to above and poor weather. Beds bathrooms lounge clean and comfy .

  We have left all the instruction manuals for appliances. The heating appears to be working normally. It is important to switch on the heating on the boiler and adjust the temperature thermostat in the hallway. It is normally a very cosy property as there are good airtight windows and doors. • "We had a very nice stay at Turnstone ."

  Everything that we needed was available , beds were comfortable and cleanliness was very good . The little local shop was handy for the odd essentials and we enjoyed a couple of nice meals out at the Craster arms / hotel ( sorry , can't remember the exact name ! ) . The guest instruction file was very handy with ideas for days out and all the instruction manuals for the appliances , though for the life of us , we couldn't work out how to get the grill to work ! That's a minor thing as we had a fabulous stay and would happily book again , if we visit Northumbria again .

• "The bungalow was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed."
