We were due to stay here this month but have had to cancel the booking due to Covid Restrictions on travel. Whilst we can’t review the cottage, we’d like to say how thankful we were when the host contacted us to offer a full refund in the light of the restrictions. Amazing customer service and we definitely will look to book the cottage when things settle down.

Superb cottage in farm location but only 5 mins drive into town.. Beautiful views. Very comfortable. Would recommend.

Walk along the canal into Skipton took longer than it says in the information book So be aware of the time it takes when going back to the cottage as it's too dark to walk along the canal and no footpath near the cottage on the road .. Even the buses don't drop off near the cottage .

Zoey cottage is superb, every care has been taken to make sure that visitors are comfortable and well catered for.. It would be difficult to find any faults, from the cleanliness, to all the facilities provided. Not only that, but the location and views from the cottage are brilliant. Add to that the friendly and helpful owners, and it makes for a good holiday.

Zoey cottage is a wonderful place to stay.. Close to Skipton town whilst being quiet and peaceful. We stayed as a family of four with children aged 4 and 7. The views are stunning from the front garden. The cottage is beautifully clean and equipped with all you would need for a holiday. We have been before and will keep returning!! Owners happy to help with anything asked of them. The children loved feeding the chickens and buying the eggs from the farm!

Great Place to stay.. Lovely cottage, great views, very comfortable. Good beds. Love the walk in shower. Only thing if you can fix it: the sofas are too soft. A firmer sitting experience would have even been better.

A lovely cottage in the Yorkshire Dales, this was our second stay as it’s an ideal spot exploring the area, next to the canal for walking the towpath and close enough to the main driving routes , comfortable beds, large bedrooms and en-suites, a small recommendation would be a fan for the bedrooms for when the weather is hot , we would definitely return some time in the future..

Owner was very friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble gave us good directions to cottage, on arrival cottage was better than we had expected warm, bright, clean and very tidy, owner has gone out of her way to provide all that you need for a pleasant comfortable stay well done; Cottage is in an ideal place to visit to Skipton and surrounding areas, we had read some of the reviews for this cottage, with the lovely views out of the bedroom windows why would you need pictures on the walls? "No Gift" The gift we received was that the price was good for this area, I have trouble sleeping my wife and I found the bed very comfortable slept ok, My only complaint is that we only stayed one week.

The cottage was actually better than it looked in the pictures, the only downside for us was the fact that the beds had cheap mattresses on them which gave us both back ache.. The double in the main bedroom was way too hard and the two singles were rather over used and sagged. Other than that this was a fantastic location with stunning views, and all in all a lovely roomy cottage. Would definitely go back but take a mattress topper next time.

We have just returned from a fabulous family holiday staying in Zoey Cottage, the Cottage is a good size for a family of 4,comfortable accommodation with beautiful views from the garden over looking the Leeds to Liverpool Canal and picturesque hillsides, the owners are lovely & helpful, fresh eggs from the farm everyday was great, Skipton is only a 20 minute walk along the toe path where you’ll find an abundance of shops, cafes & restaurants, this really is a great base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales so much so we had already booked again for next year before we had left ! !

Lovely large cottage in a good location, more like a home than a holiday property.. Very comfortable beds and both ensuite bathrooms have large showers. One of the best cottages we stayed in and I would definitely recommend it.

The cottage was excellent in every way, first class accommodation with everything you could wish for.. Owner made a point of introducing herself and was very helpful and happy to assist in anyway she could. Only a 25 minute walk into Skipton along the canal path and would definitely recommend the Woolly Sheep for an evening meal, but it is advisable to book. The location is ideal for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Dales be it by foot or by car.

Broken washing machine, dirty toilet brushes, hairs in shower, lack of privacy in spartan back garden, no pictures in bedrooms, grubby carpets, minimal cleaning.. It would have been nice to see the owner. No welcome gift.

We have stayed in lots of cottages over many years and this is the best by a long way.. Jennette was so friendly and helpful. The views in all directions were fabulous with lambs in the fields and canal barges passing by. Will definitely be returning.

The property is in a beautiful part of Yorkshire and is exceptionally clean and tidy.. There was a lovely relaxed feel to it and it really did feel like you were 'home from home'. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. It is an ideal cottage for families. We will definitely be going back!

Zoey cottage is in an ideal location looking over a quiet area of the canal yet only a 20 minute walk into Skipton.. The cottage had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. There is a terrace of 3 cottages and Zoey is the middle one. The campsite is further along the farm from the cottages and we were never troubled by noise from the campsite or our neighbours. Parking is right outside the front door. We highly recommend the Rhubarb restaurant at Herriots which is on the canal side about 15 minutes from the cottage - excellent food and service.

This property is, without doubt, the best holiday rental we have ever had. The location of the property is superb with great views over the hills and canal. It is within easy reach of Skipton Town centre and all shopping facilities. The en-suite shower rooms are perfect with all modern equipment and it is a very well equipped and spacious cottage in every way. The owner of the property is constantly on hand and a great personality. To sum the property up in one word, it is Stunning!

It was great being so close to our English friends in Laycock and being able to spend so much time with them. Also going to Haworth, a delightful village to walk around. Going on the Keighley and Worth steam train. The fact that I am back in the UK, we come every year for seven weeks and if I had the money I would live here. It's a beautiful country.

The location of Zoey Cottage was perfect for us, I enjoyed watching the canal boats going past at the bottom of the meadow and the views across open country were spectacular. My friends and I like to cook and we found the kitchen/dining room spacious and user friendly. The large fridge freezer was very useful. The bathroom was large and roomy with an easy to operate shower, I loved the big towels. Parking was directly outside the cottage and was never overly full. The owner was always around the farm and very helpful when needed.

A nice modern property which was very comfortable, with excellent views, and very convenient for walking along the canal footpath into Skipton. Electric towel rails were on a timer which meant we always had dry towels. Also, electric heaters could be switched on any time if it was cold. A very well planned cottage with plenty of space. Would definitely recommend it.
