With a local history museum, sunken pond, themed gardens, and plenty of green to go around, Pannett Park earned itself the title of the best public park in Yorkshire back in 2014, and it’s easy to see why once you experience the tranquillity it has to offer. Lucky for you, this home is set right opposite it. Open the window and you can overlook the park without ever changing out of your pyjamas, but it really is best experienced when thoroughly explored. Once you’ve enjoyed it to its fullest – and we mean a picnic spread to put all others to shame – you can explore all of Whitby’s boutiques along the narrow streets. Walk down the beach and make your way to Whitby Abbey. If you’re interested in the book that particular abbey inspired, you might want to sign yourself up for the spooky Dracula experience. Whale watch, eat as much seafood as possible, and when you’re ready, return to this gorgeous home for R&R

When the sun sets, ghost tours amble through the cobbled streets, revealing the town’s dramatic history. By day it’s all idyllic fishing village vibes, with a hint of Victorian holidays.
