The owners live next door and share the gravelled parking area, but you won't hear a peep from them unless you need their help. For those keen to explore the great outdoors, especially if your four-legged friends have joined you for your stay, cross the road and you can walk the ancient woodland of the Sutton Park estate. Further afield, the North York Moors are just a short drive away.
