This cottage is a very short walk to the beach and It is ideally placed close to all amenities. There are good views of the sea from the bedrooms especially the top floor. Cannot really fault the accommodation everything was there from home except internet which I thought was great as the best signal was usually in or near a local pub! Ideal for walkers and explorers alike and the weather for last week was just perfect. There are cafes to go to with cakes etc and art galleries to visit, we stayed for a week with our dog who was quite a superstar and everyone was very friendly. Staithes is a beautiful place and Bramla cottage provided us with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay, hope to visit again

Bramla cottage is a lovely cottage, very comfortable situated close to the harbour in beautiful Staithes.. Everything needed for a great holiday is in the cottage, the only thing which should be noted is the absence of a mobile or internet signal, and as such WiFi would be useful.

We found the cottage to be spacious and comfortable.. I was disappointed when walking in and all I could smell was dog. I know you can get rid of that smell as we have a dog. I immediately went and bought an air freshener to rid the smell. There was a note left on the fridge to say we didn’t need to use the permit as parking was free at this time. Unfortunately we took this as correct and received a fine. One bath towel is not great either when there are two people. This didn’t stop us enjoying our holiday as Staithes is beautiful. Both the pubs near the port are great for food and the tea room does excellent scones definitely worth a visit and the deli has done great finds. The cottage just needs attention to detail improving to make it a great find.

This cottage exceeds expectations. Typical Fisherman's cottage, quaint, quirky, restored to a very high contemporary standard. In the heart of Staithes only meters from the beach and a great pub with food that is a delight. The photos do not do it justice I found it perfect and so homely. The owners have thought of everything. If you want to holiday with your dog in an idyllic place then this one is perfect.

The cottage is well located in the old part of Staithes, very close to the harbour and local pub and shops.. It is very comfortably fitted out with all the amenities required for a pleasant, relaxing break. The kitchen is well equipped, sitting room comfortable and well furnished, although could do with having a curtain for the door window. The bathroom is very spacious with separate bath and shower cubicle. The bedrooms are good sizes too. Small negatives are the small bath towels (bath sheets would be great) and lack of wifi (the reason it didn't get top marks for facilities). Some may see this as a benefit though but with mobile phone reception being non-existent in Staithes apart from a limited area (by the harbour or at the top of the hill) it could be an issue. Otherwise a very pleasant cottage and worth another visit.
