Wander over to this apartment's huge bay window and look to your right — from here, it's possible to see the North Sea, which sits at the end of your street. As well as offering a nautical view while you eat your breakfast, this architectural feature means that the living space is gifted with bountiful amounts of natural light. Given the elegant simplicity of the interior, this illumination is definitely a good thing. The combination of a muted grey colour palette and wood surfaces feels effortlessly modern, while there are a couple of stylish additions to stop it from feeling too anonymous — we like the hanging spider-esque light feature and glass lamps, for instance. All of Scarborough's main attractions sit nearby, from the Italian Gardens six minutes' walk away to the town's beach which takes around double that time to reach. Further afield, the sprawling North Riding Forest Park takes just over ten minutes to get to in the car and offers plenty of awe-inspiring vantage points.
