"We loved the cottage wren, it was ideal for two people."
We have no complaints at all and we would stay again in the future.
-
"Perfect place to stay with so many places nearby to explore, Whitby, Scarborough, Goathland, Robin Hood’s Bay."
We even took a day trip to York
-
"A pleasant stay."
Loved the log burner, which I had going on two of the colder nights. Lots of hot water, which was great. I found the lounge diner small, but it was OK as I was on my own. I found the dining chairs and table very hard and uncomfortable - wall shelves mean chairs cannot be used where they tuck under the table.

"Cute cottage set in a lovely farm setting."
The owners were nice and friendly, everything we needed was supplied .Thanks for the milk and biscuits! .Good base for travelling around the coast.Pubs were lovely, food was good especially at The Blacksmiths Arms in Cloughton. Would definitely recommend and if we get back that way would stay on Meeting House Farm again.Thank you for a lovely stay.

Everything we needed was there. Very comfortable and ideally situated to explore the wonders of the Sea and National Parks which is the North Yorkshire Moors, etc.,which are stunning. We will be back

"Great holiday wonderful place to stay run by lovely couple 10/10"
-
"A cleverly designed cottage making the most of the limited space available."
Spotlessly clean and very well thought out. The bed was comfortable with lovely bedding. The shower was very small and the water temperature erratic but not a show stopper. Wifi is also erratic. The lounge area is very dark with no window but cosy. It is in a great location with parking right outside. A table and chairs outside the door and a private garden give some outside space. The Cinder track is a few yards away so easy access for walks.

"Loved the property and location Downside Wi-Fi not strong A wasp nest ..."
Loved the property and location Downside Wi-Fi not strong A wasp nest had been treated but dying wasps and some wasps were about When we arrived dead wasps were on the window sill and on the floor and kept appearing in the property on a daily basis Was very disappointed and affected the stay as couldn’t totally relax If you or the owner was aware of this being treated I think we should be made aware Would appreciate some kind of reply with the reason for not being informed or some kind of compensation

"This is a perfectly placed location for walking the cinder track and the Cleveland Way (a bit too strenuous for us at our current fitness levels), and for exploring Whitby, Scarborough and the beautiful North Yorks coast."
The cottage is well stocked and our only quibble was the settee, which wasn't particularly comfortable. At the end of the day a drink on the bench in the little dedicated garden area is a memory to cherish. Hosts welcoming but not intrusive.

"Really enjoyed our stay in this little cottage."
Just right for 2 ! Wi-Fi not perfect but acceptable for a week. Will be returning hopefully, and highly recommend. The area is beautiful and you can walk for miles, lots of lovely pubs and cafes. Excellent !!

"Nice cottage, nice stay, very peaceful - Ben and Wendy the owners were very nice and friendly without intruding."
Private garden with seat overlooking the beautiful surrounding countryside. We had a slight problem with the WiFi connectivity initially, but Ben sorted it out immediately on a Saturday afternoon and it was perfect from then on.

"We enjoyed our stay at Week's very much."
I chose this cottage because it is next to the Cinder track as I wanted to cycle it from Scarborough to Whitby. It is perfectly placed for that purpose and to also enjoy the peace and quiet. I would definitely recommend this place.

"Perfect stay."
Couldnt ask for more. The owners were very friendly.

"A window in the lounge / dining area would have been nice, Having to move the table and chairs to use them, No egg cups, No toilet brush so an extra waste of water in frequent washing,/flushing , Probably best suited to young couple."
Essential to have own transport,we did so no problem,
-
"The shower leaked badly from right panel fixing to wall, but otherwise it was fun."
Particularly liked the provision of wood for the fire.
-
"Welcoming hosts, helpful but not at all overbearing."
Property will benefit with the outdoor space the owners are in the process of completing at present. This Property is ideally situated to explore the Yorkshire coast, either by car or if you're up to it? By foot as the coastal walk is easily accessible from here. We look forward to returning

"Excellent location for coastal and Moors walking."
Friendly and helpful owners, lovely and peaceful for a relaxing stay

"Only outside area to sit was the car park."
the freezer part of the fridge was so iced up unable to close door on freezer box so therefore useless. no where to dry hair with mirror in bedroom. no where to hang coats fortunately it was dry.
Many thanks for your feedback. It is a shame that you did not contact us during your stay as our phone number is in the property for any guest to call if they have an issue during their stay. As we live next door, we could have resolved the issue that you had with the freezer straight away. You will see from the photos and description there is no garden advertised, however we are currently creating one which will be added shortly. It is a compact property but there is a large mirror in the hall with a socket next to it to dry your hair and there are coat hangers on the back of the door. Thank you again for your feedback. It was also ideally placed between Scarborough and Whitby for lots of easy simple days out.

"Great cottage, clean and all very well presented just as described in the information."
Good, efficient and easy booking process with regular contact about the stay.
-
"Nice cottage, friendly and helpful owners."
No views from inside the cottage, but it is very well located for a beautiful section of the coast path and the Scarborough to Whitby cycle path runs just past the end of the farm, so plan to spend your time outside!
-
"Loved the log burner and the cosiness of the cottage!"
