Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
You probably don't need us to tell you that this home in Redcar has had a recent renovation. Take a tour across the two floors and you'll encounter a space that feels fresh and contemporary. For starters, the living room has a soothing colour palette of whites and greys, plus some rather funky purple lighting and a bay window with seating that makes for a pleasant reading spot. The kitchen is equally sleek and is plenty large enough for cooking up family-sized feasts. Out the window, you'll spot the garden, which is a little small for anything other than sunbathing – yes, it's the northeast, but we're nothing but optimistic. Besides, during the summer months, you'll be sure to want to make the most of the proximity to the town's beach – you can be standing on the sands in just over five minutes on foot. In the other direction, Kirkleatham Museum takes less than ten minutes to reach in the car and has everything from exhibits and gardens to an aviary and a kids' play park.

About Redcar
Set on the Yorkshire Coast, Redcar still has that Victorian holiday vibe. It’s easy to imagine moustachioed bathers in their stripy long-john swimwear paddling about on the long, sandy beach. Climb to the top of Redcar Beacon to survey the town, looking out over the Victorian pier. Follow the sand in one direction, and you’ll reach bustling Saltburn-on-the-Sea, just along the coast, where a vintage tram trundles up the cliffside...
