It would be useful to have more pamphlets of local things to do available at the property.. Everything was pretty well as we expected, so no complaints and had an enjoyable holiday

I found this cottage clean and tidy, but I think it needs a bit of love.. There were no “little extras” that we have had in previous cottages.
I had to go out and buy a can opener as there wasn’t one that I could see.

A really cosy cottage, beautifully situated for walking in the Peak District.. Highly recommendable, especially for families, as there is the odd farm animal too.

The whole booking experience was excellent and we were kept well-informed throughout.. We really enjoyed our stay at The Sidings. It was very comfortable, well located and quiet with a very short to Pickering High Street and just across the road from the NYMR.

The holiday was fine.. . the booking with Sykes was frustrating.. 2 minutes after booking we realised it didn't have a washing machine . We rang Sykes to try quickly cancel and find somewhere else but the woman on the phone was rude and abrupt ..she wouldn't let us without charging a fee even though we'd only booked two minutes prior.. she was aggressive and unhelpful and inflamed a situation that I'm sure could have easily been talked about on a civilised way..If she spoke to my customers like that I'd sack her immediately irrespective of company booking policies..
