Derwent House Farm is a detached property resting on the outskirts of Malton. It houses one double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Completing the interior is an open-plan living space, comprising of a kitchen equipped with a mini oven with two hobs, a microwave, fridge with ice-box, electric frying pan and George Foreman grill, a dining area with seating for two and a sitting area with a TV with Sky. To the outside, you will find a patio area with furniture and ample off-road parking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rental price. One well-behaved dog is welcome, however, smoking is not permitted. Derwent House Farm is a splendid getaway for a couple. Note: This property is not suitable for children or infants and accepts adults only. Note: There is no WiFi at this property. Note: This owner cannot accept any bookings arriving on a Thursday.

Malton is a market town resting within close reach to the North York Moors National Park. It has been the historic centre of Ryedale since Roman times and play host to the old Corn Exchange and Assembly Rooms. Within the town you will find a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants and a weekly livestock and farmers’ markets.

Had a lovely time celebrating my 50th birthday!!! Pretty central to other cities...place is very clean and bedding and towels smells so lovely!! Would love to know what the owner uses to make it smell so nice??.paddocks was amazing for our dog !!!! Down side unfortunately chair's are so uncomfortable and covers drive you bonkers when you move and soon they are messed up..I do understand why they are there but maybe a sofa with a throw would me be so more suitable.....I so missed cuddling up with my partner as I had no choice but to sit on those uncomfortable chair's after being out for a very long day..this is me only gripe!!! All in all a top draw place as a base to view amazing Yorkshire

Amazing holiday. Everything you require is in this Amazing cottage. The paddock area behind the cottage is out standing for your dog. Beautiful place set in Beautiful surroundings. Kate the host was great left treats for our dog. Bonnie the boxer did not want to go home. But we have booked for aother holiday and look forward to returning to derwent house farm. Thank you Kate and Steve xx

We required a thorough rest and escape from our home renovations.. The cottage holiday certainly allowed us peace and quiet in a relaxed farm environment with our dog. The facilities were excellent ... all we required. The location perfect ... short drives to pubs, country towns, places of interest and the coast. The hosts were helpful and there to assist when required. This probably was our most relaxing holiday in memory and would highly recommend a stay! We certainly will be considering re-booking. The initial choice of location and booking was relatively easy and we gained reminders and support from Sykes throughout the process. We were impressed!

This cottage is ideally located to serve as a base to explore the North Yorks Moors, Scarborough, Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby, and York.. It is close to Malton and Pickering too. We loved the location and the cottage and the owners were really helpful and polite. The cottage is so peaceful, and we had a fantastic restful time. The cottage also features a private paddock which was wonderful for our dog too. We will definitely be booking a stay again. Thank you so much!
