Sheringham began as a little fishing community on the coast of North Norfolk, but after the railroads arrived there in 1887, it flourished and developed into a well-liked vacation destination. Enjoy strolling along the East or West promenades, which have a beach with a silver-pebbled shoreline leading to golden beaches with rock pools and streams adjacent to ochre cliffs, local fishing boats, and an RLNI lifeboat station with museum, as well as sea vistas with blue skies and red sunsets.
