Lovely place, excellent communication - very clean.. A bit in the middle of no-where but lovely. Only booked a few days before we went due to Covid issues and was rather reluctant to book via Sykes as I've known lots of people with refund issues due to Covid - but luckily for us it turned out well.

The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and provided everything we needed.. The parking area was well lit and the short walk from the car park to the cottage was extremely well lit. The cottage and surroundings felt really secure with the electric gates. It was nice to have a milk in the fridge and buns provided after a long journey. It was also very nice to meet the owner of the cottage, who took time out of her busy schedule (I suspect) to meet us and let us know that she was just around the corner in the farm house if we needed anything.

The accommodation was good value for the money & conveniently located for the many excellent attractions in the area.. Although generally comfortable, the sound insulation with the next door cottages was not particularly good. The bedside lamps were too bright & the curtains let in rather too much light in the bedrooms. The showers were mediocre. The cottage was fairly well equipped and we liked the welcome package of 4 tasty tea cakes. Thank you for that.

If you are looking for peace & quiet this is the place to go.. Be prepared to go off radar as mobile signal is limited to non exsistent to this location. This is not a complaint but the biggest highlight to recharge. Can not wait to go back.

Warm welcome from the owners Mr & Mrs Pope, they were very helpful and always with a smile.. Holly Berry accommodation was well equipped clean and tidy. Wood Norton is out in the beautiful Norfolk countryside and for November we were blessed with good weather. Convenient for the North Norfolk coast which can only be described as charming. The Sandringham Estate is within reasonable driving distance. Many National Trust properties and some quaint but picturesque towns, particularly Holt. The popular Thursford Collection is quite close and we attended their Christmas Spectacular Show - wonderful doesn't do it justice! It's truly amazing - well worth a visit. The auditorium seats 1500 and the show runs on most days through November and December but book early - we purchased our tickets 10 months prior to the show and a fair proportion of the seats had already been taken. To summarise lots to see and do to suit all ages, our seven days were totally insufficient to see all we wanted - Norfolk is calling us back!

Accomodation was very spacious.. Quiet rural area. Village with pub/shop was about 2 miles away down very narrow bumpy country roads but found another way which was about 5 miles. Local directions could have been clearer. No complaints about the cottage at all. Very comfortable and all mod cons.Well kept grounds.

Lovely accommodation in a a beautiful setting, within easy reach of Blakeney, Holt, Sheringham etc.. My only reason for not giving full marks for comfort was because I found the bed too hard, and didn’t really get a good nights sleep, but that is my only criticism.

The 3 piece suite was so soft when you sat on it your knees nearly touched your chin.. The single bed mattresses were well past their "sell by date".The quilts were 10.5 tog in the middle of a blazing summer. The "sharp" knives were hardly able to cut through butter let alone anything offering resistance. And a parasol would have been handy to enable us to sit outside.

A lovely location, with plenty of wildlife.. Everything fine. 'Comfort' didn't quite get full marks as the chairs/settee weren't ideal for us older folk with back problems. Loved the owls hooting in the evening!

This was, for my wife and I, the first time for many years that we had booked a self-catering holiday in the UK.. It did not disappoint. The property was good, well-furnished, clean and modern. As regards location, access to main roads was acceptable, and the immediate surroundings pleasantly rural and visually pleasing. A lack of connectivity for mobile phone was a pity, but if you 'go rural' that does so often happen. One thing we would have appreciated would have been a small fridge-freezer, rather than a simple fridge (with minimal 'deeper cooling bit'). It's not just kids who enjoy having ices/sorbets to hand! Overall - much enjoyed.

A lovely quite and peaceful location, with plenty to see and do without a few minutes drive, nice area to walk around with a number of by ways and footpaths to follow, I agree a walk to a village pub would have been nice, however the closest is only a couple of miles away so during the warmer months could easily be reached by foot or cycle.. The cottage itself was cosy, homely, warm and welcoming which was perfect considering we staying due the worse snowfall to hit for a number of years ! The cottage was well equipped and clean and provided everything we needed for a break away from everything (no phone signal, although Wi-Fi was available and perfectly usable if required) Couldn't have asked for anything more from this cottage.

Quite location, only thing missing was a walk to a village pub,
