  • "The flat was lovely, apart from sofas."

My friend and I just couldn't get comfortable. The flat was spoilt by the downstairs entrance and the smoking from the people downstairs. Also kept awake by people downstairs sitting outside talking outside bedroom window till 1am. Parking also an issue and on one occasion a plumber had used Parking space so was unable to park and had to go out again.

  • "1, from the outside the house looked scruffy and uncared for."

Zero kerb appeal. 2, the shared hallway is disgusting. Had an O.M.G. moment it was that bad. 3, the flat was O.K. clean and well equipped. However the cigarette smoke smell from the flat below was very strong and unpleasant. 4, the allocated car parking at the rear of the building was too small for anything larger than a mini. It was impossible to park Our large family car there. Street parking was a nightmare to find. Would not return to or recommend this property.

  • "Lovely clean flat in great location."

Welcome pack is most thoughtful. We love the lounge and Itchen areas and notice the master bedroom has been decorated from since our previous stay 3 years ago. The only problem we had was the very restricted parking space at the back which was difficult to manoeuvre in and out of.

  • "Impressed with the property, wasn't sure what to expect because I didn't thing it was that expensive."

My friend and I really enjoyed the stay, you have everything you need to make it a home from home. I'm sure I'm supposed to say the pro's and con's. Pro's brilliant very clean, well maintained, nice little welcome pack including tea and biscuits and milk in the fridge. Con's nothing other than the stairs up to the flat a little steep if your large as I am but there is nothing you cad do about that, manageable anyway. Loved it very much. There is a beautiful lamp in the lounge that is stunning if you put it on and switch the lights off. I WANT ONE :) Thank you

  • "Quirky, warm & 'comfy' apartment."

Loved Sandringham & the Norfolk coast. However, holiday spoilt by strong smell of cigarette smoke seeping in from other residents (all clothing, coats, bags need washing), we messaged the owner to ask if this is usual - no reply. We nearly went home on Monday, but purchased a deodorising room spray, which made the rest of the week bearable. Communal area shabby & parking space for small car only. One medium sized saucepan, one small milk pan & one small frying pan (all seen better days), plenty of all other kitchen equipment.

  • "A clean, comfortable and well-equipped flat close to all amenities - shops, pubs, buses etc."

The provision of tea, milk etc was most welcome! No problem with any aspect of the flat; easy access and reasonably quiet considering the central location. The owners clearly love their flat and enjoy sharing it with their customers.

Thank you so much for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it. Property Owner

The only downsides were the communal stairway, which is a bit grim, and the parking. Both of which are outside the owners control!

  • "Flat was surrounded by scaffolding on both sides with overgrown bushes at the front."

It looked to be in a very sorry state and nothing like it was portrayed in the photo. 'Shared' patio was a walk-through area with pots and plants etc either side and nowhere to sit. Inside the grubby entrance hall, there was a steep staircase up to the flat. Not really suitable for elderly people (my wife and I are both in our seventies). Inside the flat, there were 'three steps down to the bathroom and main bedroom'. What the info didn't say is that there is also a height restriction at the top of the steps. My wife is 5'8" and was just ok, but I am 6'4" and it was a hazard. Extractor fan in bathroom was woefully inadequate, especially with no window for ventilation. Oven was in a disgusting state and we had to get the owner to clean it before it could be used. Designated parking space was suitable for a small car only.

We had the most fantastic stay and would highly recommend. A specious flat with all the facilities needed + comfy beds which is so important. The location was perfect for both the beach and the town, Hunstanton is wonderful and the beaches at Old Hunstanton are stunning. We loved the thoughtful greeting note and basket the hosts left too.

  • "We had a wonderful week in Norfolk and the weather proved to be our friend throughout, mostly raining after dark and dry during the days."

With regard to the accommodation there were both good points and some not so good. Having a private parking space proved most useful as on most evenings there was no available parking directly outside the property. The sitting room was cozy and a very good size with a view towards the sea, the Kitchen Diner likewise was also well proportioned and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom however was quite tight and the sink was very small. However given its position within the property there is little that could be done to enlarge it. Overall the flat was quite tired looking and would benefit from a redecoration but in view of the condition of the communal corridor and staircase, which were very unwelcoming and in need of a complete overhaul, I guess that the expense would not be justified.

The flat was very clean, light and comfortable with lovely soft towels and a well stocked kitchen. We used the parking on the road immediately outside which was very convenient. There are 2 supermarkets within a 10 minute walk of the flat, various places to eat and a fabulous fabric shop directly opposite. We enjoyed the coast and cliff walk to Old Hunstanton with its large gift/antique shop, beach huts in the dunes and pubs. This was a lovely cosy place to stay for a bright but chilly autumn week!
