  • "A great house to spend Christmas with extended family."

Comfortable & plenty of space; well located; nice touches with Christmas decorations etc. However the house was very cold when we arrived: we managed to fix this over the first day, but the radiator in 1 bedroom (Lighthouse) didn’t work at all & the room was freezing cold - not great for children sleeping in there. Recommend this is fixed before your next visitors.

  • "Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped."

Close to beach and town centre so ideal location. We had a great time and will not hesitate to recommend it to others.

  • "Property was fine apart from freezing bedroom which nobody could sleep in because it was that cold."

The bedding felt wet because of the temperature in the room. And also a problem with the electrics which we were asked to sort out. The problem still wasn't resolved by the time we left . Because of this , no sockets could be used on the whole floor. Really not happy , when there were children staying in this property. A refund of some kind please!!!!

  • "We had a lovely holiday at Elwin house, it is in a fantastic location, only a two minute walk to the beach."

The house had enough space for our large family and the two sitting rooms meant we could keep the toys out the way in one! We found the property clean and when we had a problem with the oven the owner was easily reached to try and sort things. The only thing Elwin house is missing is a BIG teapot

  • "A stunning house with excellent facilities - even a milk frother!"

A big bottle of milk in the fridge, flowers and chocolates on the kitchen table, tea and coffee in the kitchen too. Also staples like salt, pepper, oil, balsamic, herbal tea, etc in the cupboards. Comfy bedrooms (with good soundproofing if you have any snorers!) with sea views. The location is handy for everything! All my guests were blown away by this gorgeous house.

  • "I stayed at this property for a week with my family."

We had a fantastic holiday, and we felt very lucky with our choice of accommodation! The house is perfectly equipt for a large group. As soon as we walked in for the first time, we felt at ease because the house is homely and very clean (flowers on the table top)! The bedrooms are all spacious with comfy beds (some with views of the sea). The kitchen has every utensil you could possibly need, and a very large dining table to comfortably seat everyone. We had some lovely family meals! There are plenty of bathrooms which were all spotless (as was the rest of the house). The two living rooms were comfortable to relax in. We hadn't been to Cromer before but would now recommend it to anyone! The house is right next to the beach and the town center. We didn't manage to see everything we wanted in the local area because there are so many options! Our favourite days were spent: exploring the beaches; exploring The Broads and the Shire Horse Sanctuary.

  • "This is a great location, close the beach and 5 min walk to the centre of Cromer."

The house had great facilities and a very well equipped kitchen. Lots of storage and hangers in all the bedrooms. Firm but comfortable beds. Really small thing but having a mirror in every bedroom would be good. Could not fault the cleanliness and space this large 9 bedroom house provides. The host was very helpful and friendly when he called to confirm we had received our check in email. As a family of 9 and a dog we absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend and stay again.

  • "Excellent location, really is only 5 mins from the beech."

We were a multi generational group, facilities were generally pretty good. Good range of cooking equipment. Single dishwasher adequate for our party but might be stretched if the house was full. The only disappointment were the mattresses- they were a mixture of too soft and too hard.

  • "Ideal location, suites everyone’s needs Property a bit dated and could probably do with a makeover but absolutely perfect for us, 15 mature women on a hen do plenty of bedrooms, clean linen!"

Lots of hot water, although pressure at the top of the house not as good as lower floors but adequate just the same, the house was lovely and warm, fully equipped kitchen, lots of space - probably lacking outside space in the summer tho! We will be back at some point as it was ideal! Definitely recommend
