Plumb in the heart of London’s glittering West End, this jungle-inspired apartment is a quirky hideout in one of our favourite corners of the city. Inside, a mint and emerald living space is illuminated by large windows. The collection of leafy house plants adds a fresh feel and we loved the colourful artwork that makes an impact against the white-washed walls. After waking up in neat bedrooms, take a seat at the breakfast bar with a mug of hot coffee and a round or two of toast, and plan your sightseeing itinerary. Catch a matinee performance at the Palace Theatre, just two minutes up the road, before loading up on dumplings in humming Chinatown, a five-minute walk from your building. Wander over to the National Gallery, ticking blue plaques off the list along the way, or slink over to upscale Mayfair for drinks and dinner in decadent restaurants.
Home truths: *While there is a lift in the building, you’ll be required to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the apartment *We couldn’t find a home manual when we visited – be sure to contact your host if you need assistance with appliances during your stay *Due to the home’s central location, you may hear traffic and street noise *Please note, there is no longer a sofa in the second bedroom
