Welcome to charming Highgate. Known for its award-winning pubs, delectable restaurants, and, of course, the close proximity to the sprawling and impressive Hampstead Heath (a ten-minute walk away), it's hard to believe that this village-like neighbourhood is only a short tube ride from London's city centre. This characterful apartment is in an excellent spot to explore the best of both worlds – enjoy morning strolls to the top of Parliament Hill (trust us, the view is worth the ten-minute climb), while away afternoons in a cafe on Swain's Lane (a five-minute walk) and spend evenings soaking up the buzz of central London (Tufnell Park station is a thirteen-minute stroll away). Decked out in deep colours, the atmosphere of this split-level flat is decidedly cosy – shelves lined with books will keep you entertained on rainy days, two plush armchairs sit in front of the ornamental fireplace and a glossy kitchen has everything you'll need to rustle up a delicious dinner. Not sure what to make? Try something new from one of the cookbooks. Both bedrooms are bright and roomy, and nothing beats a soak in the sumptuous bathtub after a trek across the Heath. Plus, the lovely hosts have thought of everything, from the workspace and smart TV to the soft slippers and Aesop toiletries – we're sure you'll love calling this your home away from home.
