If you want to travel further afield, why not head to Skegness for some seaside air, which is just 10 miles away, with its sandy beaches, traditional amusements, seal sanctuary and plenty of fish and chip restaurants to try or, if you prefer something a little quieter, the beautiful beaches at Anderby Creek and Sandilands are well worth visiting. Visit the local market towns such as Alford or Spilsby, both 5 miles, Louth (14 miles) and Horncastle, 13 miles, famous for their many antique and collectables shops and offering an abundance of independent shops, cafes and restaurants.
