The owners were very friendly and helpful and the property was lovely.. The only problem we had was the bed was a little bit too soft for us but that was not the owners fault it's just what we are use too.

The cottage was lovely, very well equipped and comfortable! The owner was lovely and very helpful! We really enjoyed our weeks stay! Mayblethorpe was 15 minutes down the road and there was a co-op a few minutes drive away!

The quality of the cottages I have been in with you are all excellent.. Peardrop was perfect, very relaxing and comfortable, beautifully done and in a stunning location. The owner John was very welcoming to both my mum and I and my dogs. Lincolnshire is my home county and we combined seeing family with exploring and reaquainting ourselves with this wonderful county. Peardrop cottage is perfectly placed to do this. Loved it!

This is an outstanding cottage comfortable, clean and well stocked.. The owners were extremely welcoming to me my two children and my three dogs. John even had a battery to hand to give me a jump start when mine was flat. We had a lovely time.

The holiday cottage was just as described.. Very comfortable and well equipped. It made a refreshing change for the owners (who were very friendly) to be so welcoming to dogs. We have two greyhounds and the cottage was perfect for them. The courtyard outside, although shared, is secure and handy for the dogs. There is a paddock where you can walk the dogs onsite too. The area is quiet in Winter - perfect for us at Christmas. We walked with the dogs every day on the nearby beaches. We would definitely recommend this cottage.

November 2018
A lovely cottage with plenty of space and a welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits on arrival.. If visiting in November/December then a visit to the Grey Seal colony is recommended as it is only about 4 or 5 miles away to see the newborn pups. Brilliant beaches nearby that are really good for dog walking and running. For meals we visited two eateries, Bambarinos in Manby and The Kings Head in Theddlethorpe both serve excellent food and are well worth a visit.

The cottage was in a great location for us, a maximum of 45mins to get to everywhere we wanted to visit.. It was well equipped and very warm and comfortable, and the owners were very welcoming but not intrusive. We had a lovely week away and would definitely visit the East Coast again. The only downsides were that i think the previous occupants had left the kitchen in a bit of a mess, although the cottage had been cleaned and mopped and all of the rooms were tidy, the kitchen cabinets were dirty, they were covered in grease and food splashes, and all of the cups, bowls, plates and cutlery were dirty and sticky. It did not ruin our stay though as a quick rinse in the dishwasher sorted them out. The only other issue that we had is the cottage is clearly used by dog owners most of the time, and the bedrooms and sofa did have a smell of musty dog about them, particularly in the master bedroom with the en-suite. An air-freshner and a bottle of Febreeze sorted out the worst of it but the smell was still noticeable in the master bedroom. Overall the cottage was well kept and we saw that the owner was regularly making repairs and cleaning the other cottages in the complex, it is clearly very well maintained and we had a great holiday. Our only suggestions would be a deep clean of the kitchen area, a carpet shampoo once a month to keep it fresh, and a new sofa cover.

My husband and myself went for a week on the 3/6 and on the 7/6 my sister and her daughter and partner came to stay for the rest of the week to celebrate my nieces 50th birthday. John the owner came to greet us with the keys and wished us a good stay, lovely man and very easy to talk to. The cottage was fitted with everything you needed and it was spotless. The beds were a little hard for us as we all have back problems but there was plenty of pillows and the bedding was nice and clean. The king bedroom on it's own at one end of the cottage with plenty of wardrobes and drawers and en-suite with TV but no chair ( maybe a grab rail would be good). At the other end of the cottage was a double bedded room and plenty of wardrobes and draws ( maybe a new bedside lamp shade could do with replacing.) But no chair The third 2 single bedded room was big enough and with plenty of storage. But no chair. In the middle of the cottage was the kitchen with plenty of cutlery dishes cups ETC but I think a 4 slice toaster would be better than a 2 if more than 2 people are staying. We didn't really like the seating in the kitchen we thought it was more liken to a caravan and that is a shame as this is 100% better than a caravan and there is room to put a table and chairs in it's place. The rest of the seating in the lounge part was good and a nice free view TV, books, cards, and games for the children. We had a few nights in as the weather was good but we had plenty to pass the hours away. Even though some nights were chilly we put the central heating on and it was nice and cosy even in the large bathroom the towel rail was heated and the shower was good. Towels were left on every bed and we just put the ones we used in the laundry basket in the bathroom. The parking was very good. A sharp turn off the road onto a pebble drive then into the back of the cottages was a big pebble car park and an open field. In the centre of the cottages is a pebble clearing with 2 benches and seats. The road noise was an issue for me on the Saturday night till 2am Sunday in the morning but after that the weekly night noise was OK. There is another cottage opposite but I don't know how many bedrooms but it looked like a 2. All in all a good place to stay to get to seaside resorts on the Lins cost-line and to the lovely Louth. Thankyou Mr & Mrs Holland for letting your Peardrop cottages to us and our family.

Great place, plenty of space, nice and open plan.. WiFi would be nice to be included. the bedroom with the en suite is next to the family bathroom whist the other two bedrooms are the opposite end of the cottage. Four adults and a dog had plenty of space and enjoyed the week at Peardrop Cottage.

The owners of Peardrop Cottage were very friendly and accommodating and made us feel very welcome. The cottage was cosy and comfortable with a good standard of furniture décor in most areas. The buildings were of a very high standard. The area was very quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend this lovely cottage and we would also love to return.

We would highly recommend this cottage. It was a very nice, clean and comfortable place to stay. The tea, coffee, milk and biscuits left for us was very welcoming. The owners very friendly and helpful and although live nearby, you do not feel as though you being kept an eye on. Our dog soon settled in and loved being in the enclosed shared courtyard with the other cottage. (Sweet Shop). Places to walk your dog nearby. Theddlethorpe Reserve not to far away (10mins by car). The nearest sandy beach is either Theddlethorpe or Mablethorpe etc. We totally enjoyed our stay and hopefully will visit again in the future. The mobile fish & chip van (Tuesdays 6.30) stop at village hall car park and very good too.

A wonderful week at a wonderful cottage; comfortable and well equipped, it was a great base for us to explore the area. A huge bonus was having the owners just next door, they were most helpful. Also fantastic to have a secure area for our dogs and a lovely large field to let them have a run around.

A lovely well appointed cottage in a great location. Ideal for the coast, wolds or just relaxing. John and Colette are really friendly and helpful. Cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival with quality bedding and towels. Nice welcome pack and we had a supermarket home delivery. Lots of good eating places in the area and lovely fish and chips in Sutton on Sea. Highly recommend and would definitely visit again.

As we are both busy self employed people, we were looking for a relatively local quiet country location for a week away. This property seemed to fit the bill. On arrival, the owner was pleasant and helpful. The cottage was clean and ready for us. Well equipped is an understatement as all we needed was food. Crockery, cutlery and cooking implements a plenty, even condiments such as ketchup, salt and pepper, was located in the cupboard. After an extremely relaxing week stay we really did not want to leave. Look forward to returning again when time permits. Thanks to John and Collette for making us welcome.

The Cottage was lovely, it was as good in real life as it looked on your website and the owners were very helpful. The courtyard between Peardrop Cottage and the old sweet shop was nice and great to sit out in when the sun was out. My husband and I liked it so much we didn't want to come home. On a shelf in the kitchen are leaflets about the local places to go and things to do, we added one for a local Chinese. We ate at a few places that were local to where we were staying, they had good food at good prices.
