Woodbine Cottage is a delightful terraced cottage situated in the sleepy hamlet of West Torrington, three miles from Wragby in Lincolnshire. This cottage is set over three floors and has a king-size double, a single and a second floor attic single, together with a bathroom. The cottage also has an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove and a sun/utility room with dining area. Outside there's off road parking for one car and a lawned garden with a patio and furniture. Woodbine Cottage is a convenient base for exploring Lincolnshire.

Over three floors. Three bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x single, 1 x second floor attic single. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Sun/utility room with dining area.

Area
West Torrington is a lovely hamlet situated at the base of the Lincolnshire Wolds. The small town of Wragby, three miles away is surrounded by countryside and is a short drive from the city of Lincoln. The town is the home of the ‘Rout Yard’ the remains of two 19th century manors, the 19th century Grade II listed church of All Saints, and a tall tower mill, built in 1831 by the millwright Ingledew. The town also has three pubs, a fish and chip shop, a café, and a restaurant.

Note: The stairs to the second floor attic single are steep and open from the first floor landing. Note: Property isn't suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Our stay at woodbine cottage was fantastic, so lovley and clean, cosy and comfy and our dog loved the garden, the welcome pack was an added bonus that we didn't expect, with local cheese and plum loaf,and all the little touches witch made it so welcoming, we never knew Lincolnshire is so stunning, we really hope to go back next year..

Lovely cottage in a very peaceful location.. It was extremely clean, comfortable and inviting. The welcome pack was very welcome, especially the delicious local cheese! Our dog Jasper also enjoyed the garden and the toys that the owners provided. Great location for exploring the local area- only 20 mins from Lincoln park and ride. We would definitely recommend this cottage. Thank you for having us.

The cottage is in a beautiful setting.. The garden was lovely all enclosed .Ideal for our dog Zeb to run and play in.. The cottage was well equiped the owners had thought of everything including a lovely welcome pack which we have never experienced before. All in all would recommend to anyone.Including Sykes Cottages great smooth booking A+.

We had a lovely holiday at Woodbine cottage ,despite the weather trying to ruin it for us (Lincs wettest place in the country! !) The cottage had everything you could want and the kitchen was a joy to cook in, so great to have good quality pots & pans to use. Lovely dog friendly enclosed rear garden just a shame we couldn't use it. We couldn't get over how quiet it was either, just birdsong to wake up to in the morning. Despite the weather we would return to Lincolnshire, we found plenty to do Gunby Estate well worth a visit, dog friendly, the Windmill at Heckington very interesting and we loved Willingham woods, great walking even in the rain !! Special thanks to the owners for the wonderful welcome pack & for fixing the TV during our stay.

An attractive quirky cottage with its beams and period features we were warm and comfortable throughout our stay.. The garden room at the rear catches the sun and overlooks the enclosed and dog safe garden. The cottage is well equipped. The owners are very helpful and considerate and their welcome pack includes basic essentials and more. In delightfully peaceful rural surroundings the cottage is roughly midway between Lincoln and the lovely old market town of Louth with everyday essentials available a couple of miles away in Wragby. The pub there does good food and is dog friendly.

Just a couple of points: (i) The cottage is fantastically well equipped with all new cooking utensils.. Fantastic! (ii) If you put Woodbine Cottage into a google maps search you get a place close by which is on Station Road South Willington. Your details are clear that this cottage is in West Torringto, although this doesn't come up on google maps, so it might be worth just mentioning specifically that this is not the cottage listed in google maps in South Willington...for people like me who haven't downloaded the instructions prior to leaving! Thanks.

It is a beautiful, comfortable, and immaculately presented cottage.. We each tried to think of something that the owners had maybe forgotten to include, but we couldn't come up with anything at all. The "Welcome" package was excellent, and generous, and we enjoyed our stay enormously.

Whilst this was a great cottage, well equiped and very clean we when to lincolnshire for 2 reasons & completed both.. The cottage was every thing you could ask for and more. Woodbine Cottage has cosy, comfy charm with plenty of living space inside and outside.. Very well-equipped, modern kitchen and bathroom. The hosts provided a welcome pack of local goodies and essentials and there were even fresh flowers. An extra delight was finding white fluffy robes in the wardrobe. Situated in a very quiet hamlet with numerous footpaths to explore, yet in easy reach of Lincoln and The Wolds. The hosts provided local guides, maps, walking routes and information covering the wider area. Lots of thought has gone into providing a home from home, and each little thought was appreciated.

We had a great time at the cottage.. It was extremely quiet and peaceful which is exactly what we were after and the garden was big enough for our dog to run around and utilize to the full. The owners were friendly and were close by in case we needed anything. Would definitely go back to the cottage.

The cottage was lovely with lots of little extras that helped to make it perfect.. Child friendly and had lots of little things to amuse the kids considering the remote location. We had a lovely time there and the owners were nearby to offer local advice and information on the area also.

Woodbine cottage is a very beautiful cottage in a quite location, very sad we were not able to enjoy it more, we were there only for a week but traveling a lot of the time around Lincolnshire looking at property so it was a very stressful week for us.. But the cottage was a lovely place to come back to which helped to distress from a very full on day. It has everything to offer from a home to home experience. The owners of the property go out of their way to make you welcome including leaving a welcome basket which was a lovely touch.

A wonderful little cottage, perfect for a family of four.. .but fantastic for a couple. It was warm, cosy and kitted out perfectly. Everything had been thought of, the garden is spacious and private. The owners live adjacent and will help if you need it but also don't interfere at all. There are plenty of walks from the cottage, maps provided; overall it is really peaceful. I loved it, perfect respite thank you

We had a very comfortable week in this lovely little cottage in a very quiet village.. The situation is ideal for exploring the best parts of Lincolnshire including Lincoln itself, the Wolds and the coast.
