  • "My partner booked the Old Chapel as a birthday surprise for my 40th, with family and friends for a mini retreat."

A yoga instructor friend came to do some sessions with us in the loft, which was the perfect location with beautiful views either side through the gorgeous windows. The property is beautifully renovated, incredibly spacious and perfect for a group with stunning rooms and bathrooms. Beds were really comfortable, the kitchen was superbly stocked with enough of everything including loads of tea, coffee and milk for a cuppa before you unpack. The garden is lovely and peaceful, hot tub really relaxing (very deep!). The hosts were very communicative, instructions for getting in really straight forward and clear. The welcome pack was full of info, and after we left and had left am item behind they were really accommodating for us in trying to locate and return it. The games room was so much fun, the pool table especially (a little bit wonky so the balls did some funny things which made it more fun), retro games, excellent choice of board games. We didn't leave the property and were entertained all weekend with small kids and grown ups alike. Overall I'd highly recommend the Old chapel. It was absolutely wonderful and a very special place. Can't comment on location as we didn't go out, but it was peaceful and beautiful and easy to find. Enough parking for 4 cars on the drive as well as on the street if needed. I hope we can return in future, thank you so much for a really special way to get a year older!!

Thank you for such a great review, I'm so glad you enjoyed you special birthday. We try to cater for all the family, so glad we hit the spot. We hope you'll come back and stay with us in the future, we'd love to welcome you back. Property Owner
