"Great location for a get away from it all type break."
Wonderful walks, very well maintained with attention to detail far exceeding our expectations.

"It was lovely."
I could quite happily live there! It was literally a last minute booking and so was a bit of a gamble but luck was on my side on this occasion. It was comfortable and homely with a modern twist belying it's exterior looks. Quiet with dog walking routes available on the door step. I only have praise for it and the owners. Jon was on hand when needed and was both helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. I'd never have known about the Spitfire wing weights that were looking at me every day had he not told me. Will definitely be going back.

"On arrival we were greeted by our host John who was very friendly and helpful."
The property was very clean and comfortable especially the lovely big bed. There was a welcome pack consisting of milk ,biscuits ,chews for the dogs ,a bottle of beer and a bottle of Prosecco. There were lots of walks for the dogs. The enclosed garden was also good as we could let the dogs out safely. The furniture and fixtures were of high quality and the log burner was really welcome on the cool nights. We had a very relaxing break and would definitely return.

"We loved your cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our time there."
Our only issue was the fact that sykes state that the pub is 0.5 miles away and in the cottage brochure it states that it is 1.4 miles away which if you were dressed up for an evening out it would be too far to walk. However it did not effect our holiday and had the best time.

Beautiful little cosy cottage Very tranquil and quiet place Nice touch with the Prosecco and real ale on arrival Nice walks from the door step Would definitely recommend it and will be coming back I never asked the owner for one but could do with a hoover instead of a dust pan and brush just to keep on top of it with 2 dogs after a wet muddy walk Every thing else was perfect

"Swallows Nest is beautiful inside and out."
It has everything you need to have a relaxing stay in peace and quiet. It is ideal for walking right from your doorstep and the log burner is perfect after a day out in the winter weather!

"We were very impressed in every way."
Definitely hope to return if staying in Lincolnshire again. The property deserves it's 5* reviews and wonderful hospitality from the hosts.

"A true gem, its not often you get the complete package of living and sleeping comfort combined with superb taste in fixtures and fittings."
Warm and cosy even in the midst of Storm Isha which lashed around our snug protected environment with the stove burning away. The most comfortable bed and pillows I have come across away from home in years and this was a perfect home all on one level for us with some mobility issues. Parking just yards from our front door and peace and birdsong everywhere - would be back if needed to be in the vicinity without any hesitation.

"We had a lovely stay over Christmas & New Year."
The cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed. However I would suggest that maybe a portable heater for the living room (for colder days) as the little electric heater in there doesn't really heat the room up if you haven't got the fire going, especially first thing in the morning. Very peaceful & quiet location but within easy reach of lots of amenities and with lots of lovely walks right on the doorstep. Thank you to Vicki & Jon for allowing us to stay in your lovely cottage, would definitely come back.

"We needed a local property to stay at for a week in between moving out & moving into our new house, Swallows nest was a real home from home, we really appreciated the week to relax with the log burner roaring and the owners ensuring we had a plentiful supply of logs, the cottage had everything you could ask for, nice surprise treat of a bottle of beer & a small bottle of wine, milk left for us in the fridge, spotlessly clean."
We really felt at home. Thanks to the owners

"We have just returned from a wonderful week in Swallow’s Nest."
A really cosy property, well equipped with all you need for a comfortable and restful break. Good walking can be found right from the doorstep which was great for our four legged VIP and once back she loved nothing more than curling up in front of a roaring log burner. Hosts Vicki and Jon were very accommodating and eager to ensure our stay was a memorable one. Swallow’s Nest is now very much on our list of favourites and we would definitely return if holidaying in the area again!
