Area
Longridge is a tiny settlement in Ribble Valley, Lancashire. Located 8 miles north-east of Preston, atop Longridge Fell, above the Ribble. Longridge sprang up around St. Lawrence's Church, on the border of Dilworth and Alston, and to the south of the contemporary town centre. Many of the buildings are made of locally quarried sandstone, and the town core has remained practically unchanged. The town has a variety of stores, cafes, antiques, art studios, a small cinema, and restaurants ranging from takeout to gastro pubs. Grimsargh and Ribchester, with its Roman museum and lovely church of St Mary on the banks of the Ribble, are its nearest neighbours.

Region
Benefitting from its Georgian capital city Lancaster, popular for its tourist attractions of Lancaster Castle, Williamson Park and the wonderful Way of the Roses cycling route, Lancashire offers a range of hidden gems you won't want to miss. With Blackpoo
