"Positives first …."
Beautiful space for a multi generational family gathering .Lovely location great to have outdoor play area and lots of room for the children to play safely in a secure area . Great social areas which was ideal for us . Very clean and lovely and warm with comfortable beds, sofas however were very uncomfortable. Nice location and great walking from the doorstep. This place could be outstanding with a bit more attention to detail. The kitchen needs a lot of improvement . It was good to have an airfryer to use however the oven door is very dangerous ,it doesn’t fit correctly and is very hard to close and steam escapes from the edges. Not enough pans , no bread knife , chopping boards ( there is one wooden bread board ) table mats would be good to protect the lovely oak table. A washer would be very useful to have . The shower in main bedroom looks good but impossible to get any hot water I think due to low water pressure there are alternative showers to use but that’s an inconvenience when the place is fully occupied. The bins in the bin store area were full to overflowing and there was rubbish all over the floor which was ripped open . I did contact the owners to let them know the state it was in and it wasn’t us they replied and apologised and were coming to sort it . There are bins at the top of the drive which we did use so we were able to dispose of our rubbish but the ones close to the house were really bad and need urgent attention . Several light bulbs are out and need replacing . Reading recent reviews all of the above have already been mentioned but not addressed It seems the property is for sale.
