On chilly evenings, you can light up the wood-burner and enjoy a home-cooked dinner of local seafood. Or, when the sun shines, head out to the courtyard and fire up the barbeque for a delicious grilled feast.

From here, Whitstable Beach is just a five-minute stroll away, where you can paddle in the water and soak up the Kentish sunshine. There are plenty of quaint pubs and tasty restaurants to try – make sure you don't leave without tasting the town's delicacy, fresh oysters. And, if you fancy doing something a bit different, head to the Wildart Trail, a woodland walk adorned with sculptures – it's a fourteen-minute drive away.
